- I am opening a hobby box of 2021 Panini Illusions Football for our next sports card pack opening/product review! These boxes have an SRP of $225, but resell in the $420 range. Every box contains 10 5-card packs. Expect 3 autographs, 2 memorabilia cards, 5 parallels, and 10 acetate inserts/parallels per box. These boxes come in 16-box cases. This product comes with chances at pulling acetate cards of top rookies from the 2021 NFL Draft class, dual player Trophy Collection SP cards, First Impressions rookie patch autos, 1/1 super bowl & purple parallels, SP HoloHeroes case-hit inserts, dual player RPAs, acetate inserts (Mystique, Clear Shots, King Of Cards), autographs of Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, & Mac Jones, and more! Compared to the other football products Panini releases, this is a mid-end set. You can get these boxes for yourself from your local sports card hobby shops and online retailers/sellers. Overall, I would rate this product a 6.75/10. Good luck if you try one for yourself!

I believe Leaf Trinity Baseball has on card acetate autos. If Leaf can do it, no reason Panini cant lol

You're right, getting value is almost impossible at box prices. I bought a $250 box of Panini Recon basketball a couple weeks ago and felt like I actually got value - autos stunk, but got a gold Anthony Edwards RC /10, thankfully. Was my first hobby box in decades so I was pretty lucky.

Would be great, except for the damage issues. They sadly seem to be relatively consistent, would hate to see it on a big hit.

This was for sure a great box, and Merry Christmas Packman!! Honestly though, paying 425 dollars and having the acetate cards come with this major issue is just sad... I mean did anyone even look at the cards when they were made from Panini or did they just say oh well money is money and release the set with this defect anyways...
I have 3 acetates like that smh..2 clear shots and a shining star...my king of cards, mystiques, and illusionists are fine tho

Again the design looks great but the Quality Control issues at Panini are brutal! At the price point nothing is really worth it unless you pull an absolute monster!

The one issue with illusions is for the price there’s Very little value, they just don’t hold it
