I hate crying over the littlest things like slipping and then I slap myself on the face and on the eyes because I'm crying and I feel weak like a little wuss. I hate being a teenager. I literally looked up how to hide my emotions because of how much I feel and I hate it. I even wrote this based on my hatred of my emotions

I can't stress this enough. In searching for a church, check to see if they have a men's group and join it. I've been attending a men's group in my church for around half a year now and the wisdom I hear from some of these older men is outstanding. Also try starting a men's bible study with a group of friends that follow Christ. You will be sharpened.

@@michaelvaughan2160 for real. I’m all for people getting saved and having a fun time. But let’s get into the nitty gritty, let’s look at scripture and wake up to the fact that we’re about to have people coming to attack us Christian’s. It’ll be like a third world country here soon of people killing Christian’s but no one wants to talk about it. Will we be raptured before it happens? Couldn’t tell you, but we as a church, the people, have to start taking this more serious and putting our big boy pants on and stop the cushy “we’re saved by salvation yayy!” Aspect

Read Galatians 5:19-21, the churches are practicing some of the sins that are listed. All churches are practicing seditions, variance, and idolatry. Seditions and variance is coming from denominations with varying doctrines and practices. The idolatry comes from their reverence of a cross and the fact that they promote a false Messiah and a false gospel (2 Corinthians 11:4). It's best to stay out of there because these people are being taken on the broad path to destruction.

When I go to church I go to a southern baptist church near my house. It's important to find a good preacher who resonates with you. Mine isn't fire and brimstone but he doesn't pull any punches either and he's funny. Every time I went he preached on things I had already been thinking about that week brought to me by the Holy Spirit. I wouldn't go to a church with a woman pastor. Women aren't supposed to be in a leadership role in a church. I view the women TH-camrs as a sister in Christ talking about Christianity which is good.

I agree to many points made in this video but I think you are undermining having emotions, especially when a man of God is in the valley, going through heavy trials and "suffering" if you will. Yes it's important to hold every thought captive and not rely on our emotions but rather the word of God. It is still something we must deal with. David cried out to God and Jesus wept. Jeremiah is known as the "weeping prophet". Our emotions ultimately should not control us (which I think is the main point you were trying to make) but lead us closer to God. Again, I love this message and agree with almost the entire video, but I think it's also important to not completely neglect emotions entirely. I love your videos by the way, God bless brother.

For me as an Catholic its very Important to be silent or whispering cause to be loud is impolite. I’d say one can’t get hyper emotional. Because at the end of the day, we are standing one the word of God. I grew up Pentecostal, so I’m for the gifts, but you can’t be so spiritual that you ignore the physical because we live in the physical. But we battle in the spiritual while we live in this fleshly body.

How I see it, its when I feel emotions I start thinking why I'm feeling in this and I have critical thinkings is those emotions are worthy having it and I filter through the word of God. One of the fruit of the Spirit is self control and peace. Jesus says that He will give us a peace which surpass all understanding. Other things about emotions are that those emotions take decisions and actions instead of God of Word and the power of the holy spirit. We need to pray as well and led the holy spirit take field and not the flesh. We have to live by faith and wisdom, that is why is the narrow road. When you get to the point when you dont care about the things of this world and just care about Jesus, everything changes.

I want to speak for the cry babies like myself. When Jesus saved me, i asked him to remind of that love that i felt. From time to time ill find myself crying, I find myself in joy that he could love me as well as the love and the blessings and the work hes done in peoples lives. I have nothing wrong to say about cry baby christians.. for years ive never cried but more frequently i find the beauty in his creation I find the love thats in people. And i hated people and i still have those doubts but now i can give chance that they might not appear as they look. I want to preach in the streets and i wouldnt be ashamed if i started to tear up, when i see people coming to Christ, when i hear and see peoples testimonies. Thats just it we were provided with these experiences and with his guidance are allowed to share with the world.

I'm sorry brother, but you're wrong about the Pentecostal denomination. I guarantee you wouldn't say that about the church I attend. Also, the Pentecostal denomination didn't start in the 1970's. It really started to pick up steam around 1906. Look into the Azusa Street Revival. It's obvious that you don't have a very good understanding of the Pentecostal denomination, church history, or the power of the Holy Spirit. If you did, you wouldn't be saying what you're saying right now.
I've seen the Holy Spirit move grown men to tears. I'm talking about hardened military men, getting convicted of sin, and sobbing because Jesus changed them inside, and out. There's nothing effeminate about that. If you think that, then you completely misunderstand the power of the Holy Spirit.
I will agree that there were some shenanigans during the Jesus movement in the 1970's where some of the movement was co-opted by bad actors like Lonnie Frisbee. However, I feel it is ill advised to make this blanket statement about the Pentecostal movement in its entirety like every charismatic church is like that.
Not every Pentecostal church is a mega church, or preaching extreme emotionalism, or hyper prosperity. However, I've seen former prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers, homosexuals, and everyone in-between get radically saved, and spirit filled. When Jesus sets you free from that lifestyle which leads to death, standing around like a stoic dingbat is the last thing on your mind.
When Jesus has set you free, praising Him with all of your heart is the least you can do. So I guess you think King David was a soy boy beta male, because he praised God with all of his heart, soul, and might then? Read 2 Samuel 6:14-23. There's a difference between controlling your emotions as a man, and praising God with all of your heart.
King David told his wife that if she thinks he's acting undignified, he'll act undignified still. It's also a cautionary tale. Because his wife was ashamed of him, God shut up her womb as a result. If God did that to a woman for mocking King David praising God, just imagine what God will do to a man? God isn't a respecter of person's bro.
Don't buy into that cessationist nonsense brother. I really think you need to take time to really study God's word, and to not lean on your own understanding. I know you are well intentioned, but it's painfully obvious that you're still a baby Christian, and you could be inadvertently leading men astray by not properly studying to show yourself approved.
I mean, I called you out for cussing in one of your other videos. You even plug worldly video games that have witchcraft, and demonic imagery in them. You may think there's nothing wrong with it, but it's the appearance of evil, and can cause weaker brothers in Christ to stumble.
Then you use sexually crass terminology and equate "busting a nut" to getting emotional for the things of God. What are you doing brother? The more you talk, the more I think you're not ready to impart into men's lives yet. You need to repent, and self reflect, because you're currently on a slippery slope.
You need to realize that once you go on TH-cam like this, that you're becoming an ambassador for Christ. You still have a way to go, and I'm speaking as someone who's been a Christian for a very long time. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to church.
I'm saying this not in an emotional way, but from a place of Godly, and brotherly love. Speaking into men's lives about the things of God is not something you should take for granted or lightly. Brother, I highly recommend that you find a strong man of God, preferably a pastor that can be a Spiritual father in your life who has lived the walk for several years without compromising.
I find it extremely troubling that you don't have a church or a pastor that you submit to. It's literally life or death to your Christian walk. I commend you for evangelizing, but you NEED a church bro. As it says in Hebrews 10:25 - (King James Version)
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Everything I'm speaking of is scriptural. You also need to study 1 & 2 Timothy about proper, biblical ministry. If I didn't care, I wouldn't be writing this open letter to you. I see that you have a zeal for the Lord, and that's a good thing, but I strongly believe that you need to seek God like never before, and take this very seriously. I've seen so many who were hungry like you, fall hard because they didn't have that right balance in their life. I can see it as plain as day, that this could happen to you if you don't take the proper precautions.
I'm speaking from experience, because I was one of those people. It's only by God's grace that I'm starting to recover from the foolish decisions I've made in the past, and God is restoring me in miraculous ways. This long post isn't from someone getting emotional, or someone who is one of those crazy heresy hunters, but from someone who wants to see you grow in Christ, and elevate everyone else around you. I pray that you take what I said to heart. I'll keep you in my prayers brother.

@@thedavidhammond Brother, I am out there spreading the Gospel every day. I did my part, and warned you. I still don't see any real accountability. It's between you, and God now. Pentecostal's being a young denomination has nothing to do with anything. Most modern denominations are young. It boils down to being spirit filled, and that happened in the book of Acts. My point still remains. No church denomination has it right, including Pentecostal's.
You say that pentecostal's have 95% lying wonders, that same line of thought can be said about just about every denomination, because the modern church as a whole has gone astray.
