I was really curious about this one, thanks for the review, this is how every review should be, actually showing how the foundation looks, without filters!

I've been loving this foundation! It looks so beautiful, and I've been grabbing for it for a few days now. It looks blurring, natural glow, and lasts all day. I make sure to prime and hydrate well beforehand.

I’m so glad it worked out for you!! I’m bummed my skin didn’t like it. I primed and hydrated and tested it for several days and unfortunately it didn’t work out for me. Thanks so much for watching!

Why do some of the comments seem like Ilia sent them? Yikes. Thank you for the honest review! It’s extremely difficult to find unsponsored Ilia reviews, which is definitely giving me pause.

I had the same thought 😂😂. People seemed so personally offended that it feels suspicious. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!

@@dearevahansenthis makes me think TH-cam videos are useless because I thought it looked gorgeous on you! I wonder if lighting or something makes it look better on video?

    I absolutely
loved the new ilia stick. My skin is dry and I’m 49. I felt like is made me glow, blurred perfectly and held up like a dream. Just thought I’d give another perspective.

Thank you for sharing! I’m so glad it worked for you! I wore two more times after and had the same issues so unfortunately it just isn’t in the cards for me haha.

I just got this product. I was surprised with similar results you shared. I'm post menopausal and have dryer skin now. So far all the foundations I've tried seperate, wear off and make my skin look dull. This product is not solving this problem. It is light and doesn't look like make up. This is important to me. I'm going to keep uaing it to see if I like or not. Thank you for the review.

Thank you for watching and for letting me know you also had similar issues. Hopefully it starts to work better for you! If you have dry skin, I would recommend the Danessa Myricks Yummy Serum Skin Tint! It’s great for dry skin and has decent coverage

Have you used ilia's true skin foundation? Can you compare it to that? I love the feel of that foundation, but the silicone and niacinamide in it breaks me out.
I liked seeing your process of putting on this stick foundation!

Thanks for watching! I love the ilia True skin foundation. I find this to just be completely different because it’s very drying in comparison!

Thanks for this review! I've been curious since I like some of their other base products, so good to know to avoid this one

Thanks for watching! It isn’t terrible, but for me it just didn’t work. And for $48 I expect better. If it was like $20-$30 I’d say give it a try, but that’s so expensive for something that is just mid.

Thanks for this review.. I was looking for a honest review, so I guess I’ll avoid this and go for the fenty one

I would still try it on if you’re in a Sephora bc it could just me my skin that it doesn’t work for! But I think the fenty one is a much safer bet! I’ve recommended it to many people and they love it . Thanks for watching!

I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews of the Fenty, from dry and combination skin types 👍

I have dry skin as well. I will skip this one. I may try Fenty or Westman instead.

I cannot recommend the fenty enough!

I’m a stick foundation girlie. ❤ Ilia has tended to run dark from the bottle for me in other products. Could it be reacting with your tan spray? If anyone has tried Basma or Bobbi Brown, how do those compare?

    • @dearevahansen
      @dearevahansen  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Ohhhh I have the Basma and love it and forgot to compare it!! I find the Basma formula to be great for my dry skin!
