@@mindless4roc23 well I've heard it's been renewed for a 5th season. I haven't read the books so I don't know where about the story is but hopefully if it comes to it , they can wrap up the story next season.
I wish more people watched it so Netflix would be forced to push out episodes faster. Season 3 just came out.

Last year I've seen too many of my favorite shows getting canceled. So this year, I am doing everything I can to promote my favorite shows as much as I can, including The Magicians. It's one of my most favorite ones..
Episode one already off to a great start, can't wait for next week! You would think removing Penny's anchor would be extremely dangerous with no knowledge of how to use his ability.

That’s the plan. If he’s gone through that much effort to protect them then he’s going to save penny which will require the enchantment to be broken. If you can’t break the enchantment then force the spell caster to break it for you.

I actually think....he wont lose control. The old penny went thru so much to control his ability and the new one could...before he got zapped into a new identity. I think his muscle memory will still be there since it will be too exhausting if they go thru the motions again.

Really wish Julia will regain her God status this season! The worst thing, in my opinion, a writer can do to a story, is taking one step forward and then regressing seven...

I am glad it's gone. Having one of your friend as an actually god is a fix for all their problems. Season 4 would be a smooth sailing for them all.
She might still be Uber powerful. Apparently, at one point, even under the identity spell, she released so much magic that she briefly shorted out the libraries whole system.

My guess is that her god magic needs time to rekindle again after what she did to make the keys.

this show just keeps getting better. the writing, the story line and the acting is incredible . good job syfy channel. hey, here's a thought , pick up midnight texas since nbc blew the renew option. would really fit in with your programming .

@@xghostassassin1111 Magic was cutt off everywhere because of the library, the only people that can use magic is The Library, Creature's and, people with magic batteries and some hedges now [which they haven't expained now how] She doesn't have magic yet, only her fairy eye.

She probably made a decent guess, hence why she snuffed out that if Not-Pennny was in fact was Penny, he would have an Earth Anchor enchantment tattoo. Can't have him accidentally Travelling in his sleep. Thankfully with magic being as rationed as it is, hearing people's thoughts wouldn't have been a problem.
I feel like Fogg shot himself in the foot with that one. Before the call she probably just had a guess on the grounds that the whole crew vanished at the same time as magic came back. But the second she heard that voice mail she knew Fogg was personally invested in this, so who else would he go to these lengths for if not this particular set of people.
