I have a baby reborn because I can't have kids! I wasn’t born with everything! Sometimes, when I used to see pregnant women or babies in the stores, it would make me feel sad and depressed. Once I finally got a realistic baby and took them out, it made me feel better!
I haven't been able to have a real baby either. I take my reborns out due to a condition called endometriosis, which is one reason why I think is the reason why I haven't been able to get pregnant
I actually got a car seat for my babies. Afraid of getting pulled over. And I never leave them in the car while I shop. Police have broken into cars thinking it was a real baby.
Same here. I also always try to make my babies look realistic while I shop because I’m afraid of some of the negative reactions I’ve heard about. Bad enough to me when I’m out when people call my babies ugly or laugh at me but that’s nowhere near as scary as people punching them or trying to walk off with them or slapping them…
@@latoshabudde4570I mean it’s not a facepalm moment really. By the video you can see how realistic they are. And some even more. If you see an unattended baby left in the car your first thought is to get it out so they don’t die
So insane that this is the world we live in now! I don't often take a doll out with me, and usually when I do there's some other goal, such as taking them to visit someone or so that someone who would like to can see them, or taking them with me for comfort in a situation that might make me feel sad or anxious. I'm a fan of baby slings. In fact, my favorite is a sling that was recalled years ago because it was unsafe for real babies, but it's ideal for dolls. You wear it more like a cross-body bag. It does have mesh to allow for air flow, but it's much easier to keep the doll discreet and below eye level for most people. Even a more typical and safer baby sling is great because there's usually enough fabric to conceal most or all of the doll.
There's really nothing to be scared of about bringing a reborn out. All you have to do is put them in a car seat and you don't have to worry about getting pulled over or anything.
When I got my first ever reborn I took her out and this young lady late 20s asked to hold her BIG MISTAKE!! i didn't think an adult would mistreat a reborn but what she did left me speechless she was holding her really nice and thennn she's said " oh gosh she looks so realistic you could scare so meny people" and after she said that she grabbed my baby's ankle and dangled her waving her about. When I say my heart jumped out of my chest it did and ran off!! I was so so mad I couldn't speak. 🥺😱
She is beautiful. I take my reborn dolls out. One of the reasons is that it's easier to see what outfit I might like them in. My sleeping baby no one has ever been able to tell that she is not real. No one has ever tried anything like you've described here, but I am also a guy. I also take them out shopping (usually one at a time) later at night when there is not so much foot traffic. It's easier to make an escape when there is no crowd. I know it's not feasible for everyone. Like you, though, most of my interactions have been positive and my babies get some love.
Great topic! I am a Reborn Mommy too. I have a stroller and carseat. I only take my babies to very few places. I take my babies to various doctors appointments. I enjoyed your video. Reese is so adorable, those hands and fingers 💗. She is a beautiful work of art!
You shouldnt be scared to take your dolls out due to that "putting real babies in danger", that man who punched a baby because he thought it was a doll clearly had a mental issue and definitely had serious anger issues, you dont punch something that belongs to someone else just because its an object and not a person, thats anti social and a warning sign that that is a very dangerous person

Super Cute Baby You have in Gracie Mae! It is the nature of collectors to have things that will make others jealous. Contending with the jealousy of others, especially if we don't present a physically imposing presence ourselves, is always a potentially volatile situation. Consider those who take or acquire a Reborn at a Doll Show and the frequency of attempted theft or malicious damage that we see reported. As Tori pointed out this can happen in other venues as well. If one deems it necessary place themselves and their precious possessions at risk, then one needs to have plans like Tori described & be ready & able to deploy - sometimes when we least expect it.
I have either a baby bag which is actually a regular duffle bag or a back pack. I have two Adora dolls (a girl and a boy) that I like to take on outings or overnight trips. I took them to Pennsylvania and used a stroller. This nosey woman came over and looked inside and said, "Oh they're just dolls." I didn't like her attitude. So I mostly like to use the duffle or backpack. Your Reese is so realistic and beautiful!
Hi Tori I'm sorry this happened to you. I reside here in Florida and I'm getting a lot of back lash about taking my dolls out to. I really needed this video. It is like a eye opening. This is sad for us doll collectors. We are innocent and just love babies.😢 God Bless ❤
My niece had several of these. I don't know if they were legit reborn dolls, but they looked SUPER realistic. She'd lay one on the couch or bed, you'd walk by and were like "Uhh. Where did this baby come from?" One time she wanted to take this SPECFIC blonde haired baby boy to the grocery store with my mom and I. She hadn't played with this particular one in a while. She left them at my mother's house because at her older sister would intentionally destroy them. My mother noticed some dust on the cheek of the blonde haired baby boy, from a distance it looked like a bruise. My mom persuaded her to take one of the two girl dolls instead. She was ADAMENT she wanted to take the boy. My dad comes in and wants to know why she won't let her take the boy to the store. My mom pointed out the dust and said, "Look at that! From an angle it looks like a bruise and I don't want someone calling Child Protective Services on me!" My dad responds with "And that would be hilarious" I can't remember anymore if she ended up taking it or one of the other two. She took them with her a lot when we went to the store or my grandmother's nursing home. The elderly people at the nursing home LOVED them and a few nurses would comment how a doll like this might be good for patients with dementia who want to be parents again and remember the joy of parenthood. Another time she took one to Walmart and I overheard one woman say to another, "She shouldn't be letting her carry that baby around like that"
I often take my reborns out due to the pain from endometriosis, what I do is say that whoever I bring is a reborn doll and the reason why I do this is due to my painful condition, the most negative reactions I've gotten was the person calling them creepy or scary and I just let it go, I also have the doll in the carseat, stroller, or my arms. I also insist that some I trust, usually my husband, stay by them and watch them.

It happened here in the UK af few years ago, in a Tesco supermarket. The baby's mother worked there, and had brought the little girl to show to her colleagues. The man apparently thought the baby was a doll, and punched her! (Why would anyone punch a doll, anyway?) Luckily the baby wasn't seriously hurt-it could have been so much worse. All he got was a fine. Absolute idiot.
I was thinking of taking one or two of mine out to find clothes that fit them. So far, I've discovered certain brands have sizing differences. It's hard to fit to some of the babies or toddlers. I have an outdated carseat, but would be afraid to use it. Well this certainly puts a different perspective on some peoples' issues. I like your idea of using a cover for the baby carry. Anyone that would punch or hit a baby would also hit a child. These are expensive artwork dolls, and if they spoiled the paint on them, I'd be hard-pressed NOT to hit the perp back! Seriously. 🤒

Imagine being a kidnapper thinking you've got a baby and it's just a doll. My goodness. I honestly hadn't thought about this factor with my dolls! Always hyper vigilant with my human babies, us women are just never truly safe.
Hi Tori just subscribed. Love your new baby absolutely gorgeous. I would love to take my dolls out, as l have 2 beautiful strollers but l am always a bit worried. It's awful that we can't do what we want. Anyway thanks for the chat.💖
Just don’t leave them in a car seat on a hot day. It’s common sense really. Babies have died been left in cars on hot days. She’s beautiful. Looks so real. 💙💙💙💙
Me and my sister feel the same way we don't do this we we cover them up with a blanket or something or they stay in the car in their car seat we don't always let anyone touch them either
i have enough to deal with out in public without adding anything extra to the equation. people constantly ask me about my cane, or want to know why i am blind. i get that people are curious but sometimes i just want to go about my day without all the stares and questions. if i do take a stuffed animal out i keep it in my backpack or pocket so no one notices it.
I have tinted windows in my car and park at a distance from other cars. I only bring them with me shopping in the evening because there are less people. I use a car seat cover during winter months.
I haven't done it yet, I'm scared to because I'm scared of what people are going to say but I'm even more scared of how I will react because I can't control myself when someone disrespects me
She is beautiful. I wish I could afford one. I’ve been alone for such a long time. I would love to cuddle with a baby even if it’s not real they look real maybe someday sad as how we have to be so careful about everything. It’s very wicked world thank you for showing that beautiful baby.❤❤
She's so Beautiful Love her hands ❤❤❤when my daughter was that small she slept so much that i had to move her to hear her cry and she put her hands like that
People used to think my real babies were dolls. 😂 I don’t have a reborn doll, but I’d like to have one to dress up. I can’t decide between the ones asleep or with eyes open.
I’ve never seen anyone with their reborn. I wish I could so I can see one in person. I’m very new to the hobby and learning all I can while I save money for my first one. Maybe I can go to an event. That would be fun
another reason to be scared is that there are people out there who would love to steal stuff like these dolls either because they know they are dolls and want it for themselves or someone in their family and they don't want to pay the price of one. Or they thought it was a real baby and planned to kidnap it for those black market adoptions only to find out oopsies.
Loved you change and chat this morning ❤ she is so beautiful ❤ it makes me want one, of course. 😊❤, loved her sleeper!! A little angel for sure❤❤ I do not take mine out except for to a Dr appt. That are stressful to me. I learned how to fo that from you, using the JuJuBe bag😂😂❤❤ I loved it, I brought a cuddle baby in the bag and she did get heavy after a bit. But everyone loved my little helper. ❤❤ I take them for stroller rides, too. We are in the country and it's very easy and I never see anyone 😊😊
I rarely take mine with me to appointments, only the most stressful medical ones, but when I do I almost always take my dolly bag too! I’m so glad you loved the recommendation too! And thank you!!!😊 ❤️
Mine are stressful especially the ones I need to drive to Minneapolis Minnesota for the university to my neurologist and cardiologist. I have some stressful tests coming up in Oct for my heart. I probably Bring a lighter one for sure. It's a lot of walking. ❤❤😊😊
It can be quite scary for me. I take them with me because of anxiety issues but I can’t just carry them the whole time- my arms and back aren’t made for it, even with a sling. And often times, the car seat is too big for the cart, leaving no room for the things I need to buy, so I don’t usually get the option to use the car seat cover in stores myself. Usually, my babies have to lay out in the baby seat with a blanket protecting them from the hard plastic and metal. I could cover them up with the blanket, I guess but that might look suspicious and I actually want to see my babies while I shop usually anyway. Edit: I do have dialogue ready at least. The first thing out of my mouth is usually, “Oh, he’s/she’s not real. He’s/she’s a doll!”.
@@missdesireindependance5194 I’m too scared to leave them in the car here. 😅 South Texas is almost 24/7 heat and I don’t wanna risk damaging them that way.
When I got my first reborn doll about 10 years ago I decided to carry her to the store with me she looked so real I was curious what ppl would think....Well, lol had a few ppl ask me if that was a real baby, and I literally had a car full of women follow me home and then stopped me to ask if the baby was real the looks on their faces told everything LOL But my mom and my dad were real concerned about for awhile after that, I had to keep reminding them that I do know what the difference between dolls and real babies! I was just curious on reaction of ppl was all Ill tell ya one outing was very interesting....
@@TorisRebornBabies a lot of new mums in Australia 🇦🇺 here carry their babies 👶 in their arms and l don’t care 🤷♀️ wat people think 🤔 l just do wat l want to
This is crazy that we have to be scared and so vigilant because people feel its ok to punch a baby or smack them just because they are a doll😕 These people need jail time. Crazy that a doll can get on someone’s nerves to the point of being violent 😟
I keep expecting this doll to move. I've heard there was some medical drama show which the plot centered around a VERY sick NICU baby. For the role of the baby, they commissioned a reborn. Another time a group of nuns commissioned a reborn maker to make a male Middle Eastern baby so they could put it the manger of the church's Nativity scene as Jesus.
@@lparky4409 Possibly. Seems like these medical drama shows would just use a doll for the part of sick baby instead of using a real baby. In Hollywood, due to child labor laws, infants and newborns in movies and TV shows are usually premature babies because a child has to be several weeks or months old. A premie meets the age requirements but can pass as a newborn. For a hospital show, where they're going to show a child hooked up to IV's and such, makes sense to just use a doll.
For us reborn mommies enjoy your babies in and out your home and stop worrying about Nagative people or just make a shirt or jacket with saying I’m a reborn doll mom

I want a reborn so bad. I have always wanted a full silicone baby (full body). I have really bad anxiety and I was told a reborn could help me with that. I am trying to save up for one. I do not have any children (biological).
I had to privatize my Instagram page because l had a man saying that I was sick and he even went on to screen shot my baby's picture and try to humiliate me l blocked him and all my babies have private pages
Dude what?? Even if you thought it was a doll why would you punch it?? I don’t understand. A few years ago I had a really UNREALISTIC doll for my child development class. It was those robotic once with censors. I was walking to see if my bus had come up yet cuz she was always late. And this random kid I didn’t know came up and punched it. Ya know I’m honestly glad he got a fist full of metal robot. I did however email my teacher about it since I literally didn’t even talk to this kid. I was just walking and he ran up and full fist punched it in the face. Luckily the doll wasn’t on yet for me to be graded. But if it was that kid woulda been grass. I would’ve probably started saying that he was messing with my grading on purpose. I don’t understand the thought process of punching things. Even if you know it’s a doll. It’s not yours to touch. If you want to slap one around buy your own. It absolutely baffles me. I really hope that kid learned his lesson from punching things. Probably hurt real bad. Punching a literal metal robot full force. Kid did get an ear full from the surrounding people who saw too. Everyone knows those dolls are heavily graded. One sign of “abuse or neglect” and you’re failing. I hope his ego hurt too
I personally do not understand the reasoning behind but l don't see the harm in it, it's your hobby you enjoy it fine , it doesn't impact me in anyway ,why would I abuse someone for enjoying a pasttime? Keep doing what you love you aren't hurting anyone😘
There is a lot of crazy people out there that just don't understand the newborn doll community and I have a sign saying do not touch I also have another side they are not real kids they're just dolls because other people just don't understand me and my sister a couple months ago we were at a grocery store and we were waiting for her husband to come pick us up and I had two containers on the stroll and they weren't even bugging her and she was covered up and one of these people is wife and husband couple came up to me and said what are you doing smuggling the baby and we said she's not real they were very weird I never saw them before ♥️♥️
When I bring my newborn doll Amber everybody thinks how cute she is because she looks so real I only had a few people that have complained about Amber but other than that everybody loves her and it cools all my newborn dolls
Nobody collects to replace children who have passed away. If that’s something you’ve heard, it was from media sensationalizing these dolls to make money from views. It’s a common misconception.

Trust me crazy is out in public go out for a day with someone with a service dog you will find out quickly or even just a wheel chair.
I’m actually legally blind and sometimes have to use a cane so I know lol. Go out with any mobility aid and watch the insanity unfold 😅😑
@@TorisRebornBabies omg I am a complete manual wheelchair user with service dog partner before everyone needed service dogs I have had one by my side for last 24 years I have some real crazy stories of encounters.
I don’t take my out and I never will. To many wicked people out there.
Definitely understandable!!👍❤️
She is so cute and adorable I see why you love her I'm so sorry to hear that people are so cruel I love to see him myself❤
Great tips… and a lovely reborn baby 👶🏻🤩
Thank you! 😊
I would have loved to have had a baby doll like her when I was little. Shes beautiful!!
Hi there your baby is beautiful. I love to take my dolls out shopping and I get alot of good feed back from ppl. ❤
She so beautiful
Oh what a beautiful baby you have there
Just don’t leave them in a car seat on a hot day.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 A gorgeous baby...I would be too scared too ...too precious I would be too frightened too just incase it was stolen! ❤
I have tinted windows in my car and park at a distance from other cars. I only bring them with me shopping in the evening because there are less people. I use a car seat cover during winter months.
Beautiful baby. Like always thanks for the advice 😊
Thank you and You’re welcome 😊
I haven't done it yet, I'm scared to because I'm scared of what people are going to say but I'm even more scared of how I will react because I can't control myself when someone disrespects me
She is so beautiful and realistic!!! I am waiting to receive my sweet Gracie Mae!!
Ooohhh congrats on your Gracie Mae! You’re going to love this sculpt!
She is beautiful. I wish I could afford one. I’ve been alone for such a long time. I would love to cuddle with a baby even if it’s not real they look real maybe someday sad as how we have to be so careful about everything. It’s very wicked world thank you for showing that beautiful baby.❤❤
She's so Beautiful Love her hands ❤❤❤when my daughter was that small she slept so much that i had to move her to hear her cry and she put her hands like that
Startle reflex, remember midwives when I had my baby talking about it.
OMG 😱😳 beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow what a beautiful baby, she looks so realistic. I wish that I could afford one but who knows maybe one day.
She is so beautiful Tori. I love the name you picked for her.
Thank you!!!😊
Loved you change and chat this morning ❤ she is so beautiful ❤ it makes me want one, of course.
I usually keep my babies in the car when I shop. I usually shop in the evening or morning.

I’m too scared to leave them in the car here. 😅 South Texas is almost 24/7 heat and I don’t wanna risk damaging them that way.
Oh so Cuuuuute ❤🙈❤️🙈❤️🙈❤️
I have Reborns and silicone baby dolls I love your videos Tori
Very cute I want one❤❤❤
Awe wish I could hold her shes so cute
Sounds like people who have real babies out need to be the ones who are scared 😢
DEFINITELY!!!! My husband and I have children and I’m wayyy more cautious with them than with dolls!
What a gorgeous ❤❤❤❤baby shes truly stunning xxx̌x̌x
I just carried mine in my arms with a blanket
I used to do that sometimes but I found that it was harder to keep prying eyes away lol
@@TorisRebornBabies a lot of new mums in Australia 🇦🇺 here carry their babies 👶 in their arms and l don’t care 🤷♀️ wat people think 🤔 l just do wat l want to
What sculpt is the doll,thanks
She Is Precious! Who Made Her? I Love This Sculpt! Thanks& ~GOD BLESS~
Gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
This is crazy that we have to be scared and so vigilant because people feel its ok to punch a baby or smack them just because they are a doll😕
These people need jail time.
There was a UK TV programme which had realistic very prem babies models and apparently the makers of ER borrowed one.
@@lparky4409 I heard it was commissioned just for the show.
@@misspinkpunkykat Might have been another show.
Hi, I'm new to being a reborn parent. I got my doll on Monday afternoon. I named him Anakin, just trying to learn everything i can fast.
For us reborn mommies enjoy your babies in and out your home and stop worrying about Nagative people or just make a shirt or jacket with saying I’m a reborn doll mom
That is a beautiful baby looks so real I’m going to for one that looks just like yours enjoy your babies have a wonderful week 👍🏾
I have a question, where do you buy the crying mechanisms ? I have been looking and I have had zero luck.
Any tips on a good reborn artist that I could possibly buy from?
Check out my friend Misty’s channel Kits To Kradles Nursery here on TH-cam. She paints both silicone and vinyl and even has payment plans available through her website.
My friend Lisa @BlueGrandma64 is a new reborn doll artist so she has great price's if you want to check out her channel. She made me one that's on its way now. I will be having my box opening in the next week. On my channel @HeyitslilJeannie if you wanna see her work
I want a reborn so bad. I have always wanted a full silicone baby (full body). I have really bad anxiety and I was told a reborn could help me with that. I am trying to save up for one. I do not have any children (biological).
She’s gougous can’t wait to get my Gracie may
You’re going to love this sculpture! Shes the most perfect newborn doll!
I hope his ego hurt too
I just scared of taking baby out . People my think iam crazy. 😢
How do we see the dolls you have for sale
Tori i need to find a carseat cover like the one you have where did you get yours please
I found mine on Amazon!
I personally do not understand the reasoning behind but l don't see the harm in it, it's your hobby you enjoy it fine , it doesn't impact me in anyway ,why would I abuse someone for enjoying a pasttime? Keep doing what you love you aren't hurting anyone😘
There is a lot of crazy people out there that just don't understand the newborn doll community and I have a sign saying do not touch I also have another side they are not real kids they're just dolls because other people just don't understand me and my sister a couple months ago we were at a grocery store and we were waiting for her husband to come pick us up and I had two containers on the stroll and they weren't even bugging her and she was covered up and one of these people is wife and husband couple came up to me and said what are you doing smuggling the baby and we said she's not real they were very weird I never saw them before ♥️♥️
Do you have any reborn babies for sale
Where can I get one!?
New subscriber here xx
Tbh I would love to have a boy same size my son was when he died.but I can't afford one
When I bring my newborn doll Amber everybody thinks how cute she is because she looks so real I only had a few people that have complained about Amber but other than that everybody loves her and it cools all my newborn dolls
I will taking mine out for anxiety
I have had two still births, but I could never ever have one of these dolls for a substitute, NEVER!!!
Nobody collects to replace children who have passed away. If that’s something you’ve heard, it was from media sensationalizing these dolls to make money from views. It’s a common misconception.
@@TorisRebornBabies I'm sure that some people will though. But, everyone has to have their own way to grieve.❤️
@@Catsmeow90 Some people use them as a grieving tools as directed by mental health professionals but nobody uses them to replace children.
When I take my doll out of I’m not taking her with me, I cover her up with a blanket in the car
