If you did not test the intercom feature then this is not a review but a product plug. As I understand it Manufactures usually exagerrate the range capabilities of their point to point communication distances.

The good:
1. Good camera work
2. Good audio balance (between music and speech)
3. Clear audio
4. Well paced video
The not so good:
1. intro was way too long. Could have been condensed to about 15 seconds and include your logo because it looks good. More logo, less dancing.
Your channel has a lot of potential.

using this device from last 8 months... awesome device... nothing happened even in the mumbai heavy rains...awesome voice clarity...people wont even know that you are riding while talking on the phone...only 1 problem i started facing few days back is the connector port is getting lose.. and now it stopped working completely.. hope you would be able to help me in taking up this issue with gearbest site... its a must have device for all the bikers out there..

Bought one on the strength of it.
Can't speak for the quality yet, although it looks pretty good, as, just after ordering I came off the bike after hitting a deer, with a resulting broken arm. So I won't get to road-test it for a few weeks yet.
What I CAN confirm though, is how easy it is to install, since I had to do it one-handed.
Anyway, thanks for posting your review. Found it very useful.

Using this for about 4000 kms. It's good for the price. It pairs very well with a similar headset but with Senas it is a hit or miss. Phone calls, Fm radio clarity and pairing with phone is so easy. Battery life is also very good. My only grouse is that it should pair with Sena also as sena is more popular.

When 2 units are paired for intercom, do they need to be on all the time. For example, can we have a short chat, then hang up, then easily reconnect. Will it ring or auto answer in the other unit?

Got the same device from "gearbest.com". Had it for 6 months only.
One issue that no one addresses is that charging and headphone-mic jack port is common. after repeated charging cycles the charging cum headphone-mic jack got deteriorated. I have read, seen multiple reviews for this device, but not even a single person mentioned this problem. What should I conclude from that(were those reviews paid?).
One thing I must admit is that the quality of the sound during calls is as good as any other branded Bluetooth intercom. at 60mph(~100 kmph), the person i was talking to couldn't tell that i was on a bike.
But don't expect audiophile quality for listening your favorite music. audio quality of songs being played was even worse to some of the basic(generic) headphones. You cant even tell if the mids are being played on it.
Battery life is good. A month before throwing it into the garbage (before the charging/headphone jack deteriorated because of repeated insertion and removal of charging and headphone-mic cable ), I played songs for 4 continuous hours before the battery died.
My conclusion is that this is a purpose built device made primarily for using you phone to make and take calls while riding. Other then that don't expect anything from it. And at they price at which they are being offered, its enough for them.
But my point is that the device is not good if it lasts only for short period of time. most of the e-commerce companies are getting the same device from Chinese manufacturers. Who ever made this device and other devices like this, should have added separate ports for charging and headphone connection. That's the main and my only gripe with this device.
Ever since I have been searching for other Bluetooth intercom device like this which is waterproof and has separate ports for charging and headphone connection, but haven't found anything yet. Every other china made Bluetooth intercom is based on the same concept
I have the same issue. What charger does this use? Is it a 4 pin micro usb? I can't figure it out. It's different than a normal 5 pin charger, but nowhere in the manual does it say what type of cable it is, and I lost the cable. Thanks!

I have the same problem. From day one i have not been able to use this device as the charger cable doesnt Zinc with any USB port nor does the charger connect. I have tried buying the cable else where but no luck very disappointing.

On my current cheap Chinese Bluetooth headset I can pair my Garmin Virb Ultra 30 via Bluetooth and record the sound together with the video. Do you think this might be possible with this one as well? What is the sound quality when speaking? Mine is very distorted, because the mic seems to be too close to my mouth. Not much space in the helmet ...

Hi! Great review. I have been using this product for 3 weeks now. Today I noticed that at the point where the device is attached to the helmet using the sticky pad, some sticky fluid has crept out from the sticky pad. I was quite surprised to see this because I also connect GoPro mounts using sticky pads and I have not noticed this there. What could be the reason for the sticky liquid to emanate from the sticky pad outside its surface area?

what for is the 3.5mm jack? Isn't it for taking calls when the device runs out of battery? doesn't it receive gps instructions and mp3 music over BT?
it's for anything that external like a regular gps unit or other media tool that doesn't use Bluetooth. say like if you wanted to bring satellite radio along that wasn't compatible. like my phone has BT and gps but it kills the phone battery using that so i use a separate gps that hooks to the bike and then wire it to the helmet and good to go.... hopefully i helped even a little bit.

Hi ! Is the velcro strip strong enough to sustain win blasts while riding on highways at 100kmph ? Since I cannot use the clamp as my helmet liners are non remoable, I plan on putting a few drops of feviquick on between the velcro tapes.

Guys please mention this does NOT connect to GPS devices over bluetooth.... GPS and MP3 etc via is via cable connections. Not many GPS devices have cable output connections.....
