- Corydoras and Shrimps are great tank mates, but can occasionally happen that Corydoras will eat Shrimp or Shrimplets? What should be done to prevent it from happening and is it a good idea to put these two well known aquarium inhabitants together?
Answer too all of these questions and a bit more you will find in this short video.
Corys are so cute, like puppies! Love them, although I've never kept them.
They are super cute and also super useful! Little aquarium pups 😊💙
@@undersurfacechannel yeah, they look silly and fun to keep.
Clear, good lighting, nice shots buddy!

They are! They are not my own actually, but I have another video in "Treasures of Fishkeeping" series prepared where I will be introducing the breeder. He has over 30+ tanks and takes so amazing care of them :)
@@undersurfacechannel cant wait 👍🏽
@@fishiemon64 Hope it will be released later in April 😊
Have you ever found the shrimp interfering with the cory's eggs? Got a tank set up with Neocaradina and just added a colony of Pygmy Corydora and I'm new to cory's.
I highly doubt that. Am not 100% sure but I do not think shrimps would be able to anyhow harm their eggs 😊
Do yo think a 10 gallon is big enough for 4 panda corydoras and a shrimp colony? I have read that it is ok online but on the smaller side. I'm worried that this may cause some aggression between the corys and shrimp. What do you think
You should always keep six or more of any corydoras species.
All I wanna know is, HOW do u get the wafers to stay in that plate? Lol anytime I drop wafers for my Cory's, they seem to play ping pong with the thing & fling it all around the tank, until it eventually gets stuck somewhere they can't reach it🤦 I feed mostly sinking bug bites for bottom feeders but I know I should be giving more algae/plant wafers
Haha yea, sometimes they get it out of their little bowl 😂 Maybe try bigger and heavier pellets to feed 😂
How big is the tank?
The aggressive cherry shrimps killed all my 4 cory catfishes yesterday ! 😡
I hear that Corys eat algae wafers. But if there is plenty of natural algae in the tank, will the Corys eat that?
They will, but they for sure will prefer wafers over algae 😊
PlayStation background music ? LOLLLL !
Not really but close enough 😝
Didn't get them the right kind of food for them right away and the totally ate my shrimp. My favorite shrimp.
Yeah well, that was the most important thing. They cannot be starving otherwise they can eat shrimps 😓
@@undersurfacechannel That's what I just said. BTW, they weren't starving, they had plenty to eat. Just not the food branded for Catfish and Loaches. I was just answering the question. Thanks though for backing my answer. Unsubscribe.
@@happycloudswhoo3691 damm bro chill
@HappyClouds Whoo the level of spite, lol. "They weren't starving. They just weren't eating the (wrong) food i was giving them." So...they were...starving.
@@justinthomas85 WTF? What spite? I was just answering a question and I get attacked. They still eat the original food over the food. Fish can go a good seven days with no food before they are even close to starving. I got them that day. Who would have thought that answering a question in A FISH video would insite such drama. No thanks. All negativity will be ignored from here on out. How disappointing.
