Hi guys, Speed is in real-time, no edit. I forgot to add that info. One year after designing and 3D printing a prototype that failed because it wasn't water proof, finally machined the housing from aluminum. I'm really happy with how it came out. It was a really cool project. Hope you enjoy it too. Thank you all for helping the channel grow.
Parabéns pelo projeto. Tudo muito caprichado. Mas eu fiquei impressionado mesmo é com a programação. Muito eficiente. Começando a seguir em 3, 2, 1.... :-)
It's just an ordinary chinese 2.2kw spindle. I will not advise you to buy the same one, I had problems with it and had to solve it by myself, the seller is terrible handling after sale issues.
Hi Frank, after I made the part I looked into the pump a bit more carefully and managed to lower the noise big time by installing the rubber under the pump itself. It was very loud because it was making direct contact with the coolant plastic container. Lol When you do yours, would love to see a video about it 😁
140mm from the machine bed and 110mm from the wasteboard. More than enough... But I've designed the machine in a way to be easy to expand, if necessary👌🏻
Hey! Really digging into your machine performance! Using it as a benchmark for my goal. Question. Did you happen to machine/face the steel profiles faces before applying the linear rails?
Hello, no I didn't, and to be honest I should lol ☺️ The actual X axis gantry is from the previous version of the machine. It's just a little hobby machine and it's always being upgraded. I intend to upgrade this part in the future, it's the last one that needs to "beef up" Lol Thank you for your words, I really appreciate it.
Sturdy looking machine. How can I get in touch with you? I'm looking into buying a router myself, and I think this is a very suitable option. Plus, I think we're from the same country 😁

This is awesome! I just noticed the specs in the lower corner. Thank you posting this info! So cool!
Happy to help!

Slicing through that aluminum like hot butter!
Impressive machine impressive toolpaths...all in all.... impressive :P
Oh, thank you so much ☺️😀
Very nice CNC. Can you tell, please, what spindle do you use? Maybe a link. Thank you very much.

@@xyzspec82 Thanks.
that's one neat looking machine right there 👍
Thanks bruh 👍🏼
Hello friend, did you use metalon structure and concrete mortar to fill the metal tubes of your CNC?
In a near future, the X Axis may be upgraded for another type of structure. If not, I'll reinforce it and fill it to dampen cutting resonance.
Your waterpump does make the same awfull noise like mine :D Nice Job on the part! (need to machine one for my mill as well ^^ )

Nice machine. What are you using for lubrication for cutting Alu? I dont see any air / mist so curious how you avoid gumming up the bits.
Hi, I run it dry as you can see.
Thanks
@@xyzspec82 Wow ok. And these are standard 2 flute endmills? Surprised that you can without issue.
@@Chazaxl yes, just some normal 2f from Aliexpress
Really interested in the design. Have you made the granite bed? Can you do a machine tour?
It's not epoxy granite, it's reinforced structural concrete. The same used in bridge construction, etc.
One day I'll try to make a video about it.
How big is the machine? How thick is the machine bed cast and how heavy is the machine?
Aprox:
1200 x 900 x 900
70
200kg
do you have a link for that vice! very nice job!
It's not a precision vise. Just an ordinary one...
I want to make a better one soon.

Hello, you have here a very nice Part👍👍
Thank you for your support!
🙂
Nice machining, are you using servos?
Hi, nema 23 hybrid steppers (closed loop)
Cool thing. I am planning to do something similar. What cam are you using? In terms of processing speed, it looked like solid i-machining.
Hi, running Fusion360.
Thanks!
how much z clearance do you have from your wasteboard?
140mm from the machine bed and 110mm from the wasteboard. More than enough... But I've designed the machine in a way to be easy to expand, if necessary👌🏻

@@xyzspec82 Yep!
Já vi muita coisa mas essa tua máquina é impressionante tendo em conta que é DIY! Parabéns!
Depois diz-me se podemos conversar.
