He actually did a great job. I'm impressed he still sounds this good after so many years... I'm not surprised he's not doing the high stuff anymore though. I'm sure his voice had changed a lot now at 50. I just wish the format had allowed more than one through. He deserved to stay longer.
@@ariela_ the original format was 4 different groups compete, the best of those four go to the semi finals and then 4 people go on to the finals and from that they get the winner.
Are you talking about on the show or from Nsync? If referring to Nsync then you clearly have never heard the other guy (JC Chasez). JC is the only one from any of the boy bands that has a 4 octave range. He would win Masked Singer hands down without even trying!
Chris did solo on a few songs though...i know he did have a solo in I Drive Myself Crazy, and I wanna say he had another in another song, but the name escapes me at this moment. I think all the guys had great voices in their own way, personally i adore Chris and Joey to the others, but i will admit that JC is a phenomenal singer and should have had way more solo success than he did.

@@blackheartbev3098 all good...ill give you he didn't have the strongest voice, but damn did he sound good in harmonies 😜🤪 I honestly was like 16 when BSB and *NSYNC came out so my judgment might be a little biased because I've always had a huge crush on Joey and Chris lol 🥰🥰🥰 And on top of that I've always been a Backstreet Girl first and foremost lol so my opinion may not be the most reliable lol But I did like Chris as Chip Skylark, for some reason that always makes me smile 😅
