Sauti Sol always leave their hearts on stage. Their authenticity to the African sound is always evident. I've loved the band for a decade and I'm so proud. Keep doing you. Mko sawa. Endeleeni hivyo.
To most people anything to do with Africa that doesn't focus on saving it, documentaries on how they've been helped by a Western organization or how surprised a westerner was by their progress, is not TED worthy. But cultures from other regions, visual art and "spiritual music" that transcends cognitive meaning is definitely TED worthy. 😂😂 If you're not willing to respect the richest continent when it comes to demographic information and cultures I don't know why you even bother watching TED. TED promotes exposure and knowledge you would rarely come across or is rarely talked about. I applaud them for giving a stage to highly influential people in Africa that don't subscribe to the poor Africa script. Way to go Sauti Sol
Check out Sauti Sol songs. Trust me they're the best not only in Kenya but also in Africa. Many think they're from West Africa but they are from Kenya East Africa.
Aw.... So proud of this group putting Kenya in the eyes of the world as a land of talent, passion and patriotism.Ignore the hate, know that you are loved exceedingly ...
I didn't even know what they were going to talk abt but I liked anyway. And I was so thankful my boss didn't come today. I danced to my heart's content. Thank you Sauti Sol. Love all the way
He's so right about Kuliko Jana being spiritual repatriation for the descendants of African slaves in America. I shed tears every time I listen to this joint. It carries my spirit back to Mama Africa, the Source.
Ignore the negativity from mindless idiots who have nothing better to do with their lives than spew negativity. What a wonderful performance big up kenya
Love this. And for the people complaining- TED talks is about education and educating people. This is educating for people who are interested in this style of music and it’s origin.
A lot of people are big mad in this comment section😂😂 as a white make even if I can't understand the language the tones of their voice the beats and the movement are all I need to be put in a groove and to be touched
Yaasss Sauti Sol👏🏽👏🏽 ,,Keep making us proud. Do it for the culture, for the People,,Representing Kenya 🇰🇪 .For the butthurt people in the comments you better get with the program,It’s Africa’s turn to shine,,unapologetically...AFRICA RISE UP 💪🏽✊🏽✊🏽
I just don't get the hate. If this is not your thing you don't have to watch it. There are a lot of other ted talks about music. Take your toxicity to your own groups where you can all approve each other and continue living in your bubble.
I'm unsubscribing as this is a new thing they started doing. I don't care who is singing I don't look at it I listen to it - I wanted a speech channel not a music one. I'm sure they want feedback as to why they lost subscribers.
I can't wait to hear all the comments from people who think TED is spelled "TD"! Just a reminder to all the folks who may have forgotten (or never knew), here's the first two sentences of TED's mission statement: "TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world." If TED posts a video that doesn't look interesting to you, then you should probably watch it.
A culture that still practices human cannibalism is not equal to another culture where people respect others. I prefer the latter because I don't want to die.
I'm watching this after they've released the midnight train...and these guys are just getting better by the day 🇰🇪
Sauti Sol always leave their hearts on stage. Their authenticity to the African sound is always evident. I've loved the band for a decade and I'm so proud. Keep doing you. Mko sawa. Endeleeni hivyo.
We are not seeking for approval anymore. Either you are threatened or just don't get it yet! I prefer the later! Wakaaaanda. Much love from🇨🇩

Watching everyone slowly get up to dance is so nice.
Love this. And for the people complaining- TED talks is about education and educating people. This is educating for people who are interested in this style of music and it’s origin.
You can't see a inch before your eyes?
Cartola da silva the slow bus missed you I see
Turn to the right.
I guess we should we expect to see all different styles of music from different origins on TED in the near future then? Highly doubtful.
This isn’t Afrobeat. I love their music though but you need to listen to Fela Kuti to know what’s Afrobeat
A lot of people are big mad in this comment section😂😂 as a white make even if I can't understand the language the tones of their voice the beats and the movement are all I need to be put in a groove and to be touched
On my list, the Best African group! Very complete!

Wakanda is not open to the public yet. How did you gather upi this information.
@@tovenonyango6032 😂😂😂 i wonder where he gathered all tht information from and yet the wakanda isn't open yet 4 the public.
I have seen music before in ted, two times before this and people weren't complaining, why are people so angry about this???😥😥
Elimeris Leonard just the other day they were complaining about another artist called Rei. Guess you just can’t please these people!
Sauti Sol forever!!! We love you guys!!
Proudly Kenyan. With all the madness going on in our country, Sauti Sol give us something yo be proud of.

I just don't get the hate. If this is not your thing you don't have to watch it. There are a lot of other ted talks about music. Take your toxicity to your own groups where you can all approve each other and continue living in your bubble.
For some reason people get irrationally angry when they are presented with different perspectives.
You N'wah!
THERE IS NO ESCAPE
This si toxic force feeding of different cultures. I have had enough of these black topics in short amount of time.
I'm unsubscribing as this is a new thing they started doing. I don't care who is singing I don't look at it I listen to it - I wanted a speech channel not a music one. I'm sure they want feedback as to why they lost subscribers.
Lol If some orchestra played classical music such as bach it would be seen as intellectual, but traditional african music is seen as trash? jeez
Jul ssn because it’s not white music...therefore it’s not intellectual (sarcasm)
How did this happen without my knowledge

Bravo!
Not all cultures are equal
mhtinla
They should be.
Why?
A culture that still practices human cannibalism is not equal to another culture where people respect others. I prefer the latter because I don't want to die.
Proud Kenyan, I am.
