Tail light grommets were actually only used on early model jeeps - not on late production jeeps like your 1945. Your tail lights also protrude much more from the body than normal. Maybe the brackets have been modified?
Good to know! It's hard to nail down small details like that when putting the Jeep back together to know what should and shouldn't be present. The brackets look original. Perhaps it's a ACM II running change like moving to the deep mud exhaust? Or the lights could be mismatched to the Jeep?
