A drive in the streets of Saint-Malo, Brittany

Today's destination is the historic town of Saint-Malo in northern Brittany. The historic district is highly fortified. The mighty granite walls made it almost impossible to conquer the city. In addition, the city is surrounded on three sides by water.
The impressive town has become one of the main tourist magnets in Brittany. It is always worth a trip.
We drive along Quai St.-Vincent and enter through the gate St.-Vincent. Restaurants which were built into the historic city walls are lining the streets. There is no shortage of good restaurants in Saint-Malo.
After driving through the town, we decided to stay for the rest of the day and enjoy the awesome views fromt the walls and towers.
