Huelgoat Forest in Brittany

The Huelgoat forest in the Armorika nature park in Brittany is the destination of today's excursion. A cluster of huge, rounded rocks forms a bizarre-looking landscape. No wonder this place is the birthplace of many legends about giants, fairies and other mythical creatures.
I wanted to revisit the place, not only for its beauty but also to get some ideas for another Brittany crime novel. As usual, we stopped at the Creperie de la Roche tremblante for a Galette and some Cider.
The back roads in Brittany are a paradise for motorcycling, even though a surprise can be waiting around every bend.
