    how do you slap on a thick layer of agrax earthshade like that and it NOT be completely glossy? Is there a step in the that isn't mentioned like adding a matte finish over the shade??

      Also think its fine if i go for it although my models are already on the base (i would have to skip the priming it black)

      @@andromedastudio_ it may take a while but i could probably send a photo or something when they are done but could i get your opinion please so i woudnt be able to prime the base black as the models are already on the base so what should i do instead?, should I run it over in a thin black, skip it or something else? Any advise is appreciated

      @@jf4464 hi! I would remove the models from the bases and re-glue them on the finished bases, but if you don't want to do that and want to prime them you could buy brush-on primer (army painter make this) and go from there, or just apply the texture paint on the unprimed base, I haven't had any big issues with citadel texture paints or vallejo's

      @@andromedastudio_ thanks I think ill go with the brush on primer route as my models are pretty firmly glued to the base and I'd be quite scared to damage them but yeah really appreciate the help and these are my first models so sorry for asking simple questions. Again thanks alot

      green tufts are citaadel middenland tufts, and yellow ones are from army painter, thanks for watching❤️

      Thank you so much, I´m glad you like the channel. I bought mine at my local hobby store, don't know where you live, but green stuff world sells them and also ebay, just search 'abs plastic rod 1mm'

    I tried these, but I didn't find the vallejo texture paste adhesive enough. Small rocks were constantly flaking off.

    Agrellan earth can do this "cracked dry earth" effect? Could not even imagine there is a paint that can do this! Fantastic video, thx!

      Yes! It's super easy, make sure you have an undercoat of paint or primer before applying agrellan earth.

      @@andromedastudio_ Yeah, I took note of the bright undercoat you used to make the cracks "pop" with color. Even though the brightness was dulled down later with the wash, it's still there. Looking forward for your new videos! :)

    I can’t find what color is Pale Sand in Citadel palette. What color do you recommend after Agrax EarthShade in Desert Bases? Thank you for share this videos

      Hi! Terminatus Stone is the closest I can think of, it's a really light brown. I would recommend getting some pale sand though. Thank you for watching ♥️

    where do you get your rocks from?

      From my local hobby store, big rocks are from Army Painter's 'Battlefield rocks' (this are actually made of cork), small brown ones are from Army Painter's 'Brown battleground', and the small grey ones are unbranded

    Basically it comes down to technical paints, which is kind of a disappointment. I wonder if there's a way to achieve something similar without buying technical paints for the texture/cracked textures.
