A torch-free version of my popular Twig Pendant has been among my most requested tutorials for a while now. So, I'm pleased to release this tutorial today! Yay, Ann! You did a beautiful job on your sweet little Twig Pendant!! 👏 Thanks so much for sharing a photo in the FB Group. This design is definitely more challenging with fine-gauge wires. So, I'll bet you'll find that your next piece is going to be even faster and easier to make! 😊
Yes! This just goes to show that pretty much any design can be modified and you can always substitute skills or techniques that you'd rather not use. Hope you enjoy making this variation. Let me know how it goes!
Yes! That's a great tip. I don't like my cup burr, which is why I didn't think about using it in this instance. But a good cup burr and a rotary tool would certainly do the trick. Thanks for sharing that great tip!
@@deanc6539 sounds like we have the same tool. I get mixed results with mine. Sometimes, I find it faster and easier to just use a sanding stick or needle file. But my cup bur does work well on ear wires, which is the main reason I bought it.
You're welcome, Ann. Most designs can be modified when you can't use a torch. Just think about how you might achieve a similar effect with a cold join or a different end treatment.

Dear Wendш, this is a great video! Thank you!
You're so welcome. Thanks for watching!
Loved the video. I gave it a try today. My wire was smaller and my bead different. All I had was top drilled beads. His was great for practice

Very nice 👍
Thank you! 🙂
I use a cup bur to soften the ends of cut wire and no risk of scratching the weaving wires. I'll have to give this pattern a try. Looks great!

@@Door44Studios My cup bur is a $12 Amazon manual dealie, came with two bur sizes. I use it to round over ear wires.

I love it and will try it soon. I also love the torch version but right now I can't do that. Thank you!

Can’t be turned into a Bangle ? I love it
I've been toying with some ideas for a Twig bracelet, but I haven't finalized a design yet. It's in the works, though. So watch for it!
