I love this idea. It is cute, easy to do with your step-by-step instructions and only uses a partial package of diapers. I have been able to make three different ones from one package of Pampers Swaddlers, for three different gifts. THANK YOU!! If I knew how to post pictures, I would put my most recent one on here. I made a 15" baby girl Diaper Swaddle Baby for my daughter's baby shower and it was a hit! I added a headband and couple other details but credited your website with original idea! I created a cardboard "cradle" to lay her in and arranged the favors around her feet and legs and it was so pretty! I got so many, many compliments! Wish I knew how to post pics! Thank you!! (Funny thing: I didn't have the little hat after all so I used one of my footie socks! Worked great!)

I am putting a baby basket together for a girl. I needed something showy for the center...this is it! Thank you for your video, looks like it will be fun to make. I will kind of feel bad covering the "baby" with a cellophane bag. :D

I cant seem to get the swaddle down. I have a recievin blanket but its more a rectangle then a square. What to do????
First fold in one side so that it is more square shaped. Then it should work just fine.

It is a very cute idea, but most new Moms at least the ones I know do not like the idea of handling of the items to be used on their babies. I made a diaper cake for some one one time and they wouldn't use the disposable diapers because they could not be washed, But I did think your swaddling diaper baby was very sweet.
O darn. Now my problem is choosing between the swaddle baby or the sleeping baby... decisions decisions
