The NEL was built in a time when diamond crossovers were not common for terminal station. This new station, having been built in the same era as TEL, has diamond crossovers. I think ever since CCL construction started, perhaps they wanted to save on construction space when cut-and-cover method is used, by using diamond crossovers at some terminal stations, instead of the individual crossovers used in older terminal stations. Changi Airport station was built in the same era as NEL as they use the same PSD. However, this station used diamond crossovers when they were not common. Anyway, this is a crossover which is known to be noisy and violent.
WE GOING TO THE DUNGEON 😂😂😂😂
