I love the way Song Kang played the demon (I tend to like stories where one character is supernatural, not to mention super adorably endearingly handsome, haha). But it was so good! Their chemistry is unreal. It's dramatic, and silly, and funny, and romantic, with a whodunnit in there too.

I'm so glad you started watching this k-drama and that you feel invested! It's very interesting and beautifully shot, so many scenes that are a delight to watch. I'm also happy that there are little funny moments here and there, they're so well-done, I always laugh at them :D scenes like that one with the middle finger, or Gu-won's interactions with his butler, there will be many more of those. Btw, I saw Song Kang, the ML actor, for the first time in the 'Nevertheless' too, I was impressed by his looks, sure, but of course, his character had a shitty personality and was quite off-putting. After that, he also had a nice role in 'Forecasting Love and Weather' (a good guy this time, thank God hehe), but I think his character in 'My Demon' seems to be the most interesting so far. I haven't seen dramas with the FL actress before, but I really like her acting and the character she portrays. By the way, the last 2 episodes are coming out in the next two days, so technically, this drama is almost completed. When the first episodes were released I came across a post on Instagram that mentioned that Guwon is YeonJun ( TXT) coded and I can't unsee it now. The way he screams and acts reminds me of YeonJun so much and I saw a few comparisons on IG. I really like the drama so far, I'm behind on the latest episodes but I am enjoying it. Also I love how a lot of people are recommending twinkling watermelon, it's my favorite dramas from last year and it's definitely worth the time.
I agree that the first 2 episode is a little slow because they were trying to introduce all the characters and set up the story and all conflicts but the good thing about My Demon is it do get better every episode. In Ep. 3 one of the main issue on Dohee's side and why he need Guwon will be established. But it wasn't until the end of Ep. 4 that their romance really started when he starts falling for her. After that I would say this will be more on the rom-com they promise esp. after they get married. I really love them so much as married couple. Their chemistry is so strong and it really is what made the show. ❤

I am glad that you are diving into more kdramas. I suggest you to watch My Mister as your next Kdrama. It's very different from your usual kdrama. It has got very deep meaning, good acting, plot cast and gives many valuable life lessons. My Mister is in my top 5 kdramas of all time. I dont think if many people know this drama and it won't get lots of request for you to react but everyone who has kdrama knowledge knows that this drama is GOATED. And plus you will get to see IU act for the first time. Its her best work till date. After watching this drama I started seeing IU in different limelight. So this drama is basically about A man (Lee Sun-Kyun) in his 40's withstands the weight of life. A woman (IU) in her 20's goes through difficult experiences, but also withstands the weight of her life. The man and woman get together to help each other. My Mister is by far one of the best shows I've seen ever. But, since you're coming from more upbeat or happier shows, then this is definitely not like it. At it's core, it's very gritty and shows some of the harsher sides of life. Wherever you will see and watch are only praises about this drama.

omg i love this series!! another drama i recommend would be Weak Hero Class 1. Its pretty violent but it has an amazing storyline with great characters! The acting is also insane especially the main character (played by Park Jihoon who was a member of Wanna One and is now promoting as a soloist and actor). The series is quite short too so it’s easy to binge watch.

And another drama that I recommend is Twinkling Watermelon, even if you don't react on camera you must definitely watch cuz is so so good, one of the best of 2023 for me. I wanted to wait until the last episode was released before I was willing to binge fer days, because I'm crazy impatient and hate to wait for the week-to-week release. Having finished it over the weekend, I can say a few non-spoilery things: 1) it's worth the investment; 2) there is definitely a drama/thriller aspect to the series, but just as in these two episodes, it's also well-tempered by the playful, funny plot advances and other character interactions; 3) it has a satisfying-enough ending for me. I've watched _endless_ dramas which were a beautiful build and a punch-something ruined ending, but I was pleasantly surprised that this one didn't fall into that category. It felt like a complete story. I'm excited for you to get into it and enjoy it!

Glad to see your reaction to kdrama besides Kpop. Definitely recommend The Glory which I watched over and over again. Although it’s dark at first I feel lots of warmth in it during the experience. Can’t wait to go through the journey again with my favorite reaction youtuber.❤

I wanted to wait until the last episode was released before I was willing to binge fer days, because I'm crazy impatient and hate to wait for the week-to-week release. Having finished it over the weekend, I can say a few non-spoilery things: 1) it's worth the investment; 2) there is definitely a drama/thriller aspect to the series, but just as in these two episodes, it's also well-tempered by the playful, funny plot advances and other character interactions; 3) it has a satisfying-enough ending for me. I've watched _endless_ dramas which were a beautiful build and a punch-something ruined ending, but I was pleasantly surprised that this one didn't fall into that category. It felt like a complete story. I'm excited for you to get into it and enjoy it!
