This worked on my base model 2015 manual 1.6L Kia Soul. My issues started with the car not wanting to start when it wasn't cold. I could hit the gas pedal to get it to barely start, but then my tachometer stopped working too. Oh I also had the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) light on my dash, which looks like a car with tire marks behind it. I replaced the sensor like in the video, had to remove my negative battery terminal twice because the first time I didn't leave it disconnected long enough. Anyway after that the car started right up fine, tachometer working great, and no check engine lights or codes. I ran the car for like 5 minutes down the road to get it up to temp. I shut the car off and restarted it without issues. This video helped a ton. Thank you! Just make sure you get the old rubber ring off before you put the new one in, because I saw a post on a forum where someone didn't, and that extra millimeter of difference was causing issues.
I have this probleme but no check engine .. is hard to start no rpm i stoped the car and restart and is good but sometime is stop when i stop to a light
I got a question 2013 Kia Soul Hatchback Driven 186,000 miles Mechanics special Not sure what's wrong with the car it won't accelerate correctly or hold speed it is making a squealing noise while pressing the accelerater, took it too a mechanic they can't figure out what is wrong with it. It's not throwing any codes. It has me stumped. Car is paid off title in hand
@davidcaudill7779 my guess is the squeeling is coming from a belt in the front. Which isn't related to the no accelerate issue. Or if the squeeling is coming from the transmission that's definitely your issue. No accelerate could be a few things like throttle body sensor. Cam sensor. Crank sensor. Or it could be something like a bad spark plug or coil issue.
@@thousanddollarcarguy gotcha my daughters 2012 Kia soul most of the time starts has moments when it doesn’t but eventually does, then the other night engine shit off while driving for the first time but started back up no dash lights. Has brand new battery. Thinking it might be that sensor?
Perfectly explained and directed. Thank you

Thank you for the great info.
Thank you so much. I think this is exactly what’s wrong with my 2012 Kia soul same issue I’m gonna try it. Hope it works.
Fingers crossed. Only real issues I've ever had with this car was a low battery
Just got same car and same issue😢 but mine is manual transmission. Will check on it
Thank you sir. That was the exact problem that I had.
Same exact thing mines is doing. Wont even pass a certain speed ?

Where is the squeeling noise coming from?

@@thousanddollarcarguy whatever it is it's not showing up on on diagnostics in a car is only 2000 so I'm thinking it's worth the Gamble
Ok so it didn’t throw any check engine lights ?
It might have thrown the battery light
