Showing that all IT employee stay late at work everyday is a just a stereotype 😂 In reality, in product companies you have flexibility like you'll never have anywhere else. It's entirely my decision whether I wanna permanently work from home or from the office. Or do a bit of both. I don't need to ask for permission to take leaves. I just need to inform. I can go offline for a couple of hours as I need. Team outings, goodies, no hierarchies, great pay - there are a lot of perks. However, you need to work your ass off in the initial couple of years to get into the ecosystem of product companies like that.
