Yesterday was my last day working at Coldstone in NYC. Worked there for almost 4 years. Everyone was emotional as we bid farewell to each other and to the store! Will always cherish working there and the wonderful moments I spent with my team. ❤
@@Ritsukaberry It’s pretty cool honestly, it’s not so much a coporate one, so I’m just helping out, but it’s really a team that run it. It’s kinda cool. I know my place and love it, just helping out to the best of my ability while they run the show
i just got my first job at coldstone! its been fun! but i tend to be a clutz sometimes. the portion sizes and mixing properly have been my biggest struggle forever. Im taking notes to be better!!
@zarrysgf4556 for some reason they started off by asking me if i was ever incarcerated 😭😭 but they asked me basics like if i have a drivers license or ID (bring it!!!), what i know about the company (SAY THAT U KNOW THAT THEY MAKE ICE CREAM FRESH IN HOUSE!!! I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT 😭😭) and they want to know a little about yourself and how you would handle certain scenarios like unhappy or aggressive customers. strangely, i never got asked for my resume but it might be different at other places haha. Good Luck!!! Just
@zarrysgf4556 no, when they were asking me about how i dealt with customers, i did mention how i have thick skin when it comes to jabs that people might say to me on the spot. That might count as a strength. sprinkle anything that might be a weakness or strength throughout your answers :]
@@LoudActsofkindness sorry i’m asking do much questions 😭😭 i just want to be prepared did they ask u a lot on how customers would react in situations or only just few times again i’m sorry if this is annoying
Just a thing about sprinkles, next time if you use sprinkles it’s better if u press it for a sec so that the sprinkles won’t fly everywhere when you r doing chop chop fold fold
@@morganmcfly your welcome. Even if it’s not sprinkles or it’s like almond you know- those small stuff, just still press it. Love your yt channel! Keep working hard!。❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and for the waffles . Quicky do it because it’s only soft when it’s warm and ROCK SOLID if it’s cold
Wow your portions are amazing! My local shop the girls barely put any ice cream in them, I’ve told them many times but they just give me the Dumb look 😔 It barely reaches the rim that’s how bad! So we don’t go there anymore.
@@anotherbucket5859 no! It’s like half of the cup! And to pay $$ for a half cup 🥵 We have been there before and the amount of ice cream is perfect for the cup but recently these younger girls don’t want to put effort into them. It’s ok because they closed down 🤷🏻♀️
Every store has different wants/needs when it comes to their employees, but we’ve got a 17 yr old guy with no experience (started couple weeks ago) and he’s doing an awesome job! 😁👍🏼
@@morganmcfly thank you so much for letting me know !!!! I’m waiting on Baskin Robbin’s answer, if in a week I get nothing I’m applying to Cold Stone !💗
Cold Stone stores are individually owned and operated, so I can't say with 100% certainty that you would have the same experience in a different area. I love my store and my Cold Stone family. We have a great crew and (mostly hehe) great customers. We work hard, but make good money and have a fun time :) I will say that you would probably find it refreshing compared to working at a fast food joint or big box store.
Wearing gloves isn't a requirement. We regularly wash our hands and don't actually touch any food. What we do wear gloves for is any task that requires touching food such as making waffle cones, prepping mix-ins, making cakes, etc.
The universe is making a way for me to have a store like this. Such a satisfying work.
Good luck, friend!
@@morganmcfly thank you!
This is so satisfying to watch, I would love doing this

Bahaha I hope it helps!! I’ve been doing this a longggg time so I’ve pretty much got my technique down to a science 😂

Don't expect a mountain of Ice cream. Portioning is more difficult than it looks. And if we put too much then we can get yelled at by managers.

But I understand your anger. The ice cream is def expensive.

I'm working at cold stone creamery Egypt 😍😍
How much do you get paid? Especially for working full time
I am dying to get my first job and I am thinking of this !
Do you think for my first job, having no experience and at 17 I could get hired ?

I just got a job at coldstone was it hard for you to remember the signature creations?
It wasn’t too hard! I think most of us memorized them within the first couple of weeks. Good luck! I hope you enjoy the new gig :)
amazing video, thanks a lot

do you think working at cold stone is a great job for someone thinking of leaving there old job & start fresh
Probably

Depends. A lot of locations get insanely busy and it's deff a job that can cause or make carpal tunnel worse.
@@katrinarossi2443 you're not wrong. We have a very busy store, and I work full time. It is very physically demanding.
Oooo
Did you need a copy of your receipt?
Hey i have a training tomorrow but im 17 years old and i don’t speak English very well can you give me an advice?
Sorry I missed your comment, but I hope things are going well at your new job 😁
uiikllööukkllööllllooooolollkkkkmmmmlllkk
Is this an easy job?
Easy to learn, not complicated, but we work very hard at our store, like we are go, go, go all day then exhausted by the time we leave.
Watching this for work and the no gloves thing is bugging me so much :-:
