I like that idea. I low key had that going in the back of my mind this time but the idea didn’t occur to me. Last year there was a boxed Colecovision and I didn’t buy it. I hoped it was back this year! That could’ve been the hot pick.
Thanks for the reply. Been watching ya for about 4 years now I believe. I dig your style. When's the next collection tour? I know they must be a bit of a pain to produce.
I think we’ll do a game room tour this year. As far as collection tours, I’ve pondered doing one on my Wii collection. As it is full of obscure RPGs most of which people probably haven’t even seen let alone played.
We used to have that exact same Q*bert cartridge for the C64 back in the early to mid 80's when I was a young kid. Played it all the time. Awesome that you found that one in the box and even more awesome that you got Warren Davis to sign it while you were there. Great stuff, Mur!
Maaaan! Had so many tiger hand helds growing up but always struggle to remember which ones. Seeing that Karnov brought me right back was one of my favourites! On a mission to buy it back now 🙌
That's so cool you got the Q Bert signed. I can relate to the Tiger handheld. If I see the pinball Tiger Handled at that price I'll pick it up. Same with the Radio Shack plane and tank.
I sold a bunch of Tigers off years ago because they’re not all good. But I kind of regret it. I kept a couple and my Konami lcds too. The TMNT one is an all time fave.
I recorded that track on a drum/rhythm pad app. Looping together assorted samples with the beat. Makes it easy to create the different parts and decide where they go! I’m glad you like it.
Great to see young collectors going after C64 and Intellivision games! Sometimes it feels there isn't much love for the "OG" systems nowadays! Keep up the great work!
I will! And yeah, people shouldn’t sleep on Commodore and Intellivision. Both had stuff they did exceptionally well, especially c64. I used to play Bards Tale and the AD&D gold box games on mine. Good times!
Cool video. Would have like more footage of the games you saw and the crazy prices you were seeing mixed in with the fair prices too. Great content! Until next timmmmme-ma!
You’re right, I really needed more extensive coverage of the market. I gotta slow down and dig deeper next year. And there’s more from this year I could show in a follow up episode. The expo is SO fast paced and it’s over in a blink. It’s an amazing time though. Thanks for watching this and I’ll definitely put some more content together from it!
I love when people negotiate themselves into a lower price haha. I loved Tiger games growing up, and you're right, those sounds were drilled into my memory!
I've never been to a flea market, I always imagined them as outdoor fields with a bunch of black tents and foldable chairs/tables. I guess they're like Spirit Halloweens where they just appear in random stores and malls. Great Video! I'm a young collector and it's interesting to see older folks collect.
The best fleas are at dedicated locations and are the ones that allow randos to rent tables by the weekend so you always see new people with new things. You should Google and see what’s near you! Hopefully you’ll find a good’un.
I see how much effort you've been putting into the editing. Great job mur. If I could ask one thing of you that would improve your show. Please go over more of the interesting things you find at tables even if you're not interested in buying. Because you do an excellent job on giving facts about the games and history of them. I really enjoy that. Anyway mur, as always, I love the show. And I'm jealous. You got to eat all that eye candy and only shared some.
Yep, I definitely plan to look at more stuff and values, whether I buy them or not. That’s good advice. And I’m glad you’re liking the show! I’m definitely committed to keep improving it and I appreciate you being here!
Much love for Q*bert, especially that you got it signed; that's so cool. That Nomad has me thinking of a potential deal we have in the works--stay tuned! B-17 BALL-MUUUURR! I can already heard that Intelli-voice. ha ha So cool of Owaz to hook you up--great guy and fun channel!
All that aside though, real tawk, YAWL need to be down here next year for this!! July 28-30 so save the date!! I haven’t even made a video of the tabletop & arcade action yet. We play tested a new D&D type game and participated in a Starfinder bounty. I also bought some really cool new resources/equipment for tabletop play!
@@Emceemur We are definitely trying to iron out what conventions we can make it to. Once Lady Laci has some PTO built up at her new job we'll have a bit more wiggle room for travel...assuming gas prices aren't so murderous.
This one’s worth traveling to. The host hotel runs rates as cheap as $129 a night. You can make a weekend of it and not leave the whole time since there’s plenty of places to eat.
I hate that I didn't get to do much at the convention. I was at our table most of the time. It looks like you dropped by. It was weird seeing people set up for a "flea market" having such high prices. Our store had a vendor spot over the weekend and I was worried our prices were high.
@@Emceemur you did. Im pretty sure I saw you and didn't know it too. We had the bold printed price stickers on all our games. In your video you pick up the Rambo for Famicom.

The whole expo always just seems so rushed and I always feel pulled in so many different directions. I wish it was at least four days in length.
Nice pickups! That was really cool that you got it signed! I'm intrigued by that new Revilo game as the art style looks amazing! I hope we see some floor footage of the expo with some of the arcade and D&D stuff! Great video and keep up the good work!
So I bought about $100 worth of resources at the Revilo table. He had very intriguing products. Including card decks that were all inclusive campaigns. Maps, character stats, items, bestiary info, all on the cards.
That WOULD be cool! A lot of it was dungeons and dragons oriented tho. Not sure how much of my viewerbase gets down like that. But SFGE always has new tabletop games and products and I really love that part of it. We playtested a new rpg called Mythis and it was a 3 hour session. It was a great experience!

I’ve seen it as low as $70 without a manual in sold listings. Price charting had it around $150 complete I believe. Now you aren’t wrong, I saw two listings up to $200. But that is definitely the very high end of complete copies. And for what he had, there wouldn’t be much I could do with it for 100 bucks.
Thank you! Yeah it looks sharp. C64 did a lot with not much beef under the hood. I have a lot of history with that computer. Especially old RPGs where graphics weren’t the most important factor.
I've seen a number of TH-camrs who collect Tiger handhelds. Retrowolf88 collects them. I think the Simpsons one's are interesting, especially the table top. I'd like to get the A-Team table top.
Nah, not a mistake at those prices. Now, you’re right. Odds are, they would work fine after a cleaning. NES probably needed a new pin connector. Those are cheap. But at $30, $40, then the shipping too, it’s not worth the risk when you won’t even double your money best case. That’s how I see it, anyway.
You also gotta figure in they had no parts included. Or controllers. Some of that I have in spare parts. But not all. And they’re getting expensive. It eats your profit right up.
