That year 1963 is definitely not right. The first X-Men comment came out in 1963.

So in comics, people talk about each series when the year it first came out. So for example even though we are talking Uncanny X-Men 246, it part of the 1963 series because that was when the first book came out. When we get into later series, the year will change because of relaunches. When it came to Hickman's X-Men people would say volume 5 for X-Men or X-Men (2019). So no my title is correct, because this book is part of the 1963 series.

@@freshcomicstoriesBased off that. I thought you would go off of when Giant Sized X-Men First came out In 1975.
The comic that you are reviewing here has little similarity to the original X-Men comic, but definitely has his roots in what was introduced when Giant Sized X-Men came out.

@@colorcommentary5987 While we're on the subject I always thought it was strange how the original X-Men series went into reprints for several years (#67-93) only to relaunch with new material and keep the same numbering. Think no other series has done that, though some did resort to reprints before ending (Adventure Comics).

Giant Size X-Men is technically counted as an issue of the original series. It’s own series that added on to the X-Men lore
