I have to say. When Styx wrote that, it was about their current time (which I didn't think that bad), and loved the Marilyn Monroe Statue of liberty. Then as it continues it seems to fit current times to a T !! That final statue sobbing, and holding her withered face, is completely disturbing 😬😱 I don't know how many time's I've watched this, and each time I'm a little more disturbed. I won't mention which way I lean, well lean is a mealy way of stating that, as I'm definitely to the 1 side !! I'll stick to 🎶 as that is the universal language for us. None of the crap stuff they pawn off as music. I'm not talking about the newer bands I dig 🤔 Like A7X/Halestorm/Taylor and The Pretty Reckless/FFDP etc. However as much as I like them, they weren't part of what formed me when growing up !! They make the song's you choose, and the artistry you add to them so impactful 👊 ✌

Sometimes I’ll have two or three videos I’m working on for weeks and I just keep going back to each one after it’s done and re-watching them and “feeling it” until it feels right, I’m mean really does what I want, I wont release it. And I’ve gotten better over the last couple years at doing that. At least I think I have lol. I go back and watch some of my older videos and it makes me cringe lol. I agree with you on your theory of classic versus contemporary. There’s a lot of newer stuff, I really like. I won’t even consider making a video because videos are so common. Every artist that is doing well has videos made now. You mentioned “pretty reckless”, she’s a good example, her videos are fantastic.

She's a great example, and I think Avenged Sevenfold A7X are pretty much the millenials version of Metallica lol I can tell all the work you put into them, and knew you had to have done, and redone them over and over. Bcos of the attention to detail !! It's absolutely the best I've seen on TH-cam and also the "only" videos I'll play that aren't of the band's live, or the occasional one's that are featured around some hot models 😃 I'm a sucker for a couple of them, but enjoy your material better than anything but live or a released video of them. I have an entire folder of: The Midnight Special videos for instance. However that's why I gave you so much credit, as I knew for it to come out the way you've done it ? That had to have taken hours upon hours to get it "Perfect" 💯🤘

I really dig an older current, The Dead Daisies, they have a lot of videos. One of my most favorite newer metal bands is WarKings. Also Lords of the Trident, Holter and Sabaton. And a hundred more I could list. But again all these bands are making their own videos so I wouldn’t dare even touch them. WarKings videos are freakin baddass.
Styx Grand Illustration was a very hot album in my high school days in the 70s. You seem to nail it every time with your videos. Most people who listen to this song think its about a woman. They don't realize it's about the Statue of Liberty the USA.
America is sick, Miss Liberty is crying for what she sees going on in her country. All citizens open your eyes to the truth, our brains and souls that God gave us seperates us from the animals. We must have law and order. We must protect our borders. We must have strong and competant Government officials. Who make and have stong policies. etc etc. We must have the truth.

I wanna say June 🤔 Oh it was up there with Metallica and Pantera, as for the best concert I've seen. Of course Udo's German accent was soo thick, if you didn't know the lyrics (from the cassette sleeve) you'd have not understood a word 😂🤘✌
