I grow Coleus Redhead, and I'm accustomed to the odd leaf developing thin greenish-yellow margins. This year, some entire stems, arising from the central axis of otherwise typical Redhead plants, have expressed these coloured margins The plants are cuttings of overwintered plants, from stock acquired several years ago. They are container grown, in the same location every season, and, the phenomenon is not related to light exposure or lack thereof, given the points of origin of the stems and their location within the canopy,. I don't know Redhead's parentage, but I assume one of them had margined leaves, so I wonder if it might be reversion and, if so, why are only one or two random stems affected? Be much obliged to anyone who can enlighten me.
I have my coleus indoors and these see through spots appear on the leaves and the lovely green and red color is fading - I don't know what's wrong, it doesn't get a lot of sunlight :/
Are the colors vibrant green and yellow? Has the shape of the plant changed since you bought it? I have a video about what happens when a coleus becomes leggy. Here's the link. th-cam.com/video/P7FeXesH410/w-d-xo.html Is this what happened?
So the plant is just getting too much Sun? I was assuming that the plant was a chimera and that it's genetics were mutating.
Beautiful plant

Hi! Are the spots small or large and are they squishy?
@@LetsTalkAboutPlants They both died on me sadly :// But the spots were crispy and small, still have no clue what the spots were
@@MilleMoomin When it's crispy that's usually a sign of underwatering.
That's amazing, I love it
