This is a good way to raise ya livestock but here in NZ we have better animal Husbandry & wiening the heifers or bulls for the meat works.

Can you elaborate? We wean our cattle. Just curious as to what your better animal husbandry consists of? Always looking to grow better beef. Yall have alot better grass growing season from what I've been told. My family doesn't know yet but we're going to take a trip to New Zealand to tour dairy, beef, and sheep/goat operations.

This is why they need to eat grass and hay and not the stuff you feed them to fatten them up.
