These are my match darts, and coming from a straight barrel I was so surprised how well they worked for me. I use a longer swiss point in mine as well and found I can still fit the trident nose cones of the swiss hex to remove the lip and works very well. Also like you said, with how thick these are, I was pleasantly surprised how well they grouped together.
Thanks for the video Worldwide! I was going to get some of these to try but I’m the same as you. I like a thinner dart a bit lighter, with a milder grip. Also a rear gripper that likes a smooth transition at the front to protect moulded flights. I have a request for a dart i know you will love and so will everyone else! You loved the Gabriel Clemens gen 1’s, had your record average with them. You will love the gen 2’s! Sp point version. Slightly better grip, blasted for texture and feature a slight pixel grip. Id love to see you review them. All the best.
Nice review! I quite like these darts personally. I am a fan of razor grip and I like the barrel shape. Long points as you mention are definitely needed! I didn’t like the metal shavings that fell out of the back end of this dart. Never seen that before on any of my darts.
Thanks! Yeah, a bit strange to have metal shavings fall out of the back. I tried to see if there was more in there and ran a small wire brush but nothing else came out. Personally it would bug me knowing 2 of my barrels were perfect and the other one was .08g off. I would use tungsten putty to make them all weigh 23.08g. Not that I could ever tell the difference but it would be peace of mind.
Hello mate. How do you think these compare to the Target Bolide 05? They're near enough identical in shape, but perhaps the Williams darts have more grip. How would you say the 2 compare and which would you recommend - for rear grippers? Cheers mate 👍
Is het using Swiss points i do not think so. I think he is using 41 mm . That is the same with the Luke littler darts. Can put in a normal point in a Swiss point barrel? Are the using normal darts and is target selling the darts with Swiss point system for the public so the can ask more money?
I just picked up a set of these in 25g, retailer didnt have the 23g (which I wanted). The grip does take awhile to get used to, but once I did I really do like them a lot (took a couple days). Tried different stem lengths, and longer is definitely better with these, have some 30mm points coming in the mail today. I'm getting the perfect entry angle for what I was looking for. Hit my best ever leg in a match (16 darts) after owning these for 4 days.
Curious if you know the width on the heavier version. If I had to guess I'd say they're the same 8mm width but most likely drilled out less in the back to make up for the 2g weight difference. If would be awesome if you could confirm the width on the 25g barrel for us. Thanks
I've got the 25g set and use the Swiss Storm points you put on 1st. They do go fast I noticed that and can struggle to keep them down. They generally go in the board very flat for me. I use Luke Humphries shafts with L Style flights to stop me Robin Hood-ing. That seems to be the shaft and flight set up I like the best at the moment. Darts, last time I picked some up I went back to the Bomber 2s you reviewed 26g.
Thanks! Yes, Scott used K-Flex flights and I meant to use them in this and totally forgot. I had them sitting right here on my desk. If it wasn't so late at night I would have done a retake on the throwing part of the video but I couldn't be arsed 😂
These cross my mind every now & then. I do wish Target would up their game with the swiss points & more length options, especially on the storm points. I'd probably be all over these if they had a bit less razor grip & maybe did a small patch of some more rings or micro rings on the other side of the colored rings as well. I've been slowly building my perfect barrel (I think I want to get a custom set soon), and realize razor grip is probably my least favorite thing on darts (other than bull-nose/nasty lips).
I have just ordered these my cousin got some and there so dam nice. I ordered 25g version and some 35mm Swiss Storm Diamond Points. What size Stem would you recommend for that setup. Thankyou.
Thanks world wide great review..... target seems to have quality issues 7/10 times not sure if thats good but seems like your reviews have pointed these out more the once over the years match weight is never 100% for target its not much but enough to hit the wire or one hole out
Thanks Eddie! It's strange with Target... I'm just not seeing much consistency in their quality control. Either their darts are pretty much spot on perfect or they have a few flaws. For the new sky high prices they're charging I expect to see better quality control. There's absolutely no reason to have tungsten shavings fall out of the back of the barrel. I have no idea how they could even pass the weight inspection without someone seeing this. Of course it's going to happen from time to time as no company is perfect but it does seem to happen often with Target darts from what I've seen. They need to get back to what they were known for and starting paying more attention to their quality.
He has used 50mm points in the past but I'm pretty sure he was using the new swiss GRD points 35mm in black at the world champs... doubt he'll be changing them again any time soon after his great run 👍
Be sure that you are wrong. When he throws, there is at least 25 mm distance from the barrel to the surface of the board, and considering the 16 mm indentation, we can say that the point is about 41 mm, plus the amount that goes into the barrel, which is more than 6 mm for Swiss Barrels. (8~10 mm) So they must be at least 50 mm, custom and non SP.
Do you think the fragments accounted for the 0.8g difference? Swear youv'e had weight matching issues with Target in the past. Considering how many pro players they sponsor, and how big they are, its borderline unacceptable!
I was on the fence when they first came out but now I think they're great. It's a great option for many players to experiment with point length and see what works best for them. I'm also a huge fan of the Swiss Storm points.
*Target darts at Double Top Darts* www.doubletopdartshop.com/collections/target-darts-1

@sarfarazhaji11 Yeah, that's what I paid. I was pissed to see Target jack the price up

Been contemplating getting these as I’m finally ready to retire my old unicorn sigmas. These look very similar in size.
Is your retiring Sigma barrels 970, 950 or other model?
@@FanBoyStudio369 they are an older model. Not sure what number TBH. I’ll try and find out for ya though. Cheers.

which kind of flights do you use? I mean the length.

nice video again. I also bought the Scott Williams darts. 25 grams. heavy grip indeed. but they fly wonderfully. thx

hey wwd , scott uses custom 40mm points. His darts will be released in the black version next month greetings from Belgium
I'm relatively certain you could tightly group bowling balls. 8mm darts is easy peasy.
These are the darts I'm gonna get!!
Just ordered a set, can't wait to give them a go. Great video, thanks
@@johncapriotti8894 did you like them?
Nice set of darts, i got a set for £45, remind me a bit of a grippy John Lowe style, but they do fly well.

Maybe have a look at the Bolide 05. Great Darts, especially for their price.
@@MK-vl7bt they are great darts! was the first style of Bolide I picked up. But yeah, those are my favorite kind of barrels for the most part.

Is there a way to safely reduce the grip level on these darts? Love everything about them except that grip. It’s just too much!
Nice darts! I see you can now get them in a black version.
The Gerwen Price style 180 at the end i see 😉 they look a cracking set of darts.
That's happened to me two times recently 😂
Where can I sell darts online in the US ?!
What cameras do you use to record your play?
A Logi Stream Cam pointed at me and a Galaxy Flip 5 pointed at my board.

Pretty sure Target have put the price up since his run at the worlds. Was looking at these in November but went for the 05 bolides instead. Love them.
I'm almost positive these were in the £40 range not too long ago. The price went WAY up 👎🏼
@@WorldwideDarts Yep I got mine back in November for £35 on sale! Clearly they didn't think much of Williams until after the Worlds haha.
@@nagchampa420-pe9zg still a lot cheaper than playing golf or snooker. The prices of a cue or clubs is ridiculous!

The 23.08g weight was after the shavings came out. They were 23.10 when I first weighed them

Then you miss out on the SP point system, it's fantastic. I have 3 sets with them (including these darts) all working wonderfully.

8mm? Jeez, everyone's preference is extremely different.
