"Ketchup and tabasco, look at that!" So cute how culinarily sheltered the British are. 😂

  • @leolopez2126

You can't go to IHOP wit someone who doesn't even like IHOP

“Both food wise and also the setting. I feel less likely to be the victim of a murder.” How did Ollie nail the difference between IHOP and Waffle House so well?😂😂😂

Originally it was "International" because they offered different varieties of pancakes and crepes, sweet and savory, from around the world. Over time the pancakes/crepes took a back seat. When I was a kid I think they had varieties from 25-30 countries and the A-frame restaurants were strewn with the flags of all the nations represented. They also used to have a lot more than just 4 syrups.

Growing up in the 70s IHOP was much more focused on the "International" part - a much wider variety of 'pancakes' - crepes etc than the modern menu

Legend says that Josh is still SHOOKETH over the Flipping Buttered Pancake.

I love how Josh is still surprised at the suggestion of pouring on maple syrup at the point they eat the French toast, as if it hasn't gone on almost EVERYTHING already 😂

I like that Ollie pointed out that IHOP is an 'international entity' 😂 so astute of him (as always) to respect that kind of distinction...

I can't get enough of Josh and Ollie trying different American foods guided by friends. What a hoot!

They did not get the stuffed French toast, they did not get the stuffed Crepes, they did not get one of their delicious omelettes.

I'm so proud of Josh and Ollie for Americanizing their way of thinking about food:

I hope you guys go to Hawaii for a traditional Hawaiian Luau. That would be fun to watch.

When I worked for Ihop Brits were always my favorite customers, I always recommend the NY cheesecake pancakes and the steak tips cause its really good. Always took care of my Brits ❤❤

  • @michaelpaske4327

iHOP used to have an "International" breakfast menue with such things as Swedish Pancakes, German Potato Pancakes, something British I think, can't remember what it was as didn't sound worth eating, Mexican Omelets, etc -- Their new menu has put an end to that "international" flavor (s) much to the downgrading of the food.

The classic buttermilk and strawberry cheesecake are the best pancakes imo. The spinach and mushroom along with the big steak omelette is great as well

Steven was one of the tik tokers that really helped me during the pandemic. Having someone who works in the same field making me laugh about that awful time, it really helped ❤

I used to work at an IHOP in East Lansing Michigan right near MSU. It was sooooo good. My take home meal was a corned beef hash + cheese omelet on 2 pancakes with butter and syrup.
