I think having the top cover just lift off makes it easier to access the buttons and the vacuum roller assembly. Better than having a hinge that could easily break or interfere with access. ✅
7:00 That's because they want you to buy MORE THAN ONE for each floor of your house. Might have to do that... saves the trouble of carrying it around. But in a jiffy the T20 seems sweet and you seem to like it. Especially with those Target carpets. Sounds like the T20 was smart and 'learned' what it needed to do to get unstuck. Same with the toy truck story.
This is an alert about the Ecovacs new T20 vacuum/mop. Be VERY careful when you use it!!!! I received my T20 about 3 weeks ago and am having some BIG problems with it. I noticed that after a mop run, the floor infront of the dock and the ramp of the dock was wet. I watched it while it docked, and while it was docking, THE MOP PADS WERE DOWN!!!! This means that DIRTY water was being squeezed off the pads, and rubbing into the floor infront of the dock!!! It didn't matter what area was being mopped, or the whole house either!!! ALSO, there was so much water that the floor UNDER the dock was SOAKED! This is NOT GOOD for 120 year old hardwood floor!!!! The SAME thing happens after a vacuum only run, but the pads are usually not wet. BUT that still wears them excessivley. I have tested a few other modes, like MOP, and MOP and VACUUM, and the pads are rinsed like normal, THEN the bot backs out of the dock WITH THE PADS DOWN AND WET!!!!!! This ALSO squeezes water under the dock!!!! The problem would be just as bad if the dock were on a carpet! The carpet detect does not work during docking, so the pads are down and rubbing the carpet with dirty water!!! I have been in contact with Ecovacs, and sent them videos of the problem, and they don't seem to be very interested in getting the firmware fixed. They just give me alot of "stroking" and "how sorry they are.." blah blah blah!!!! They are sending me an "moisture-proof pad". Sure sounds like they know this is a problem!!!! I feel for a $1000 vacuum that is supposed to be premium, I got the "premium" treatment!!! Bend over!!! I am sending mine back, and will forefit the $100 discount and the one day Amazon $250 gift card as my hardwood floors are worth TONS more than this!
I just ordered a T20 OMNI from Costco Canada last night. They call it the TEO OMNI there... Costco exclusive.
Love the cute KIWIS on the shelf!!!!

The T20 figured out how to get over a slope in our house. Pretty smart
Nice. You did a great job on this video explaining the product.
Awesome review as always! Thanks for sharing, Eric
Must be nice to get free merch for reviews.
Is this better or the dreame L10s?
I haven't tried that robot myself.
There literally is a button to have it returned to its base and you can just say it

The autofocus on your camera is annoying.
