      Sadly lameness levels are really high in dairy cows. A combination of spending a lot of time standing on concrete and also the absolute metabolic limit they’re pushed to to produce the crazy amounts of milk, it massively reduces their body’s ability to heal and fight infections. In the UK the average is that at any one time, 25% of cows will be lame. 😢

    I love you guys so that's why I'm bringing this issue up again. PLEASE, protect your lungs from that salicylic acid powder and those sprays you use. Your lungs are extremely sensitive even though you may not notice any immediate issues. After dealing with these chemicals for years, the damage could build up and your lungs could suffer permanent damage long term. This also goes for room deodorizers, candles and anything with a fragrance. This goes to your viewers as well. BIG HUGS!!!

    • @fredsmith9714
      @fredsmith9714 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

      Everything you said is true, even candles can cause lung problems if used often enough over years. However, the acid powder is much worse and even putting their face shields down would help some, though n95 mask would be preferred. Breathing in flour or powdered sugar can cause fluid build up in the lungs, followed by bacterial growth and bronchitis or pneumonia. The acid powder does the same thing, but also directly burns small holes in lung tissue. We all use salicylic acid to treat pimples and see the impact. Our lungs are softer than even skin in/around are genitals. So its not hard to imagine the damage done, and repeated damage will kill the lungs.

      I was a 13-15 year-old girl when my 2 sisters ( both deceased) and I would watch Mr. Waters, our vet out in Pecos, Texas, clean , trim, and treat any problems with our family's horses hooves. The years were 1963-1964. Mr. Waters did an excellent job. He had such a high work ethic caring for our animals even though my profligate father ran off with Mr. Waters wife about 4 years prior to my 2 sisters and I moving to Pecos from Galveston, Texas. My evil father (I was told) hocked his wife's wedding ring in order to fund their love nest up in Ruidoso, New Mexico! Obviously my father and Mrs. Waters did return to their respective spouses. Our yearbook from that year , showed Mrs. Waters in an advertisement from the town's gas company. My beloved older sister, Linda, was Mrs. Water's assistant in the photo. Lordy, Lordy, Mr. Waters sure wasn't a man who held a grudge. Our whole family relocated to Denton, Texas in the middle of 1964. Mr. Waters continued as our family vet until we left Pecos. There probably wasn't enought for 2 vets in Pecos.

    We passed you today in Wigtown around 1.30 which was amazing as I’m on holiday here from Scarborough. I love Scarborough but I do love Wigtown, Kircudbright and the surrounding area. It’s beautiful and everyone is so friendly. Now I know why you say you love your home town. I love your videos and I’m looking forward to reading your book. Keep up the good work.

    Your videos give an insight into the anatomical complexity of a bovine's hoof for we lay folk who most probably think a hoof is simply a large block of keratin without any nerve sensations.

      Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Christina Ann Tucker, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

I can’t imagine the amount of pain she was in, and the relief she must’ve felt once the block took the weight off the sore toe!
