Great documentary really enjoyed it. Proper community football club You can’t beat nonleague football at the grassroots football. I’ve been going to watch Kings Lynn football club for the last 50 years. I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else
last time i was at shawbridge was january 1963, clearing the pitch after a snowstorm. week after we moved to Bristol. to this day i wander around wiltshire wearing my Clitheroe shirt, season ticket holder, weekly draw, and i do try to buy as m,any clothes from the shop as i can. Clitheroe FC will always be in my heart and although i am 240 miles away when asked who i support its always Clitheroe .
Watched my team Heaton Stannington play here in the FA cup a couple years ago and it was great. Such nice fans and such a good setup for this level! Visiting again this weekend to watch my team in the FA trophy, should be a good one👍🏼
Clitheroe FC Have the best food at football I have ever had. As a new Clitheroe fan and Season Ticket Holder, I have brought City United and many other fans to the match, and they luv non league football now, after the sterile Premier League. And all luv the Food, and the prices, and the honesty. Some guys now come when City or United are away. Fixtures depending, and they live down in Manchester. One guy come s for the Shepherds Pie/ Or is it cottage pie. I moved to Clitheroe 4 years ago from Manchester and what a great town that is growing with new people all the time and new fans for the club. Although some locals don't like the town growing and I understand that. As a season ticket holder I can only get to about 8 games a season because of work, but for £85 I don't mind it helps support the club. When i retire in a couple of years time i will be able to go the whole season can't wait.
