This kit lists for $455!!! You want $455 for a piece of sheet metal, a rubber band and an LED strip? Nice video lol now I know how to install any other kit on the market thats half the cost for the same product.
Well. If that is how you feel you are entitled to that opinion. However we have the highest quality Thruxton tail tidy out there. It is stainless steel 16ga plate with a billet CNC's LED mounted to that. A premium LED array that is better than all the other ones out there. Our fit and finish is also far superior to the competition. We were the first to design these kits for the Thruxtons old and new and we sell hundreds of them. The rest copied and do it cheaper with lesser quality components. You can buy a PBR or you can buy a local craft beer. They are both beer but one cost twice the price for a reason. Maybe it just isn't for you at our price point and that is Ok.
On your website it mentions this is for 'off-road use only'... So it's not street legal? Forgive my ignorance, but why not? Or does it just depend on the state you're in/ the cop that pulls you over? Haha. Cheers.
I think he just means it's not DOT certified so it's technically not legal but nobody should notice as they are just as bright as stock lights the manufacturers know DOT is a waste of money
@@AryanSharma-qq4xs The above comment was based on the comment he posted. The older A3T (his post stating 5 year old machine) for Air cooled Triumphs needs a different relay. The liquid cooled A3Tv2 that this actual video is regarding does not require the relay. Are you referring to the box that contains the electronic components between the light and the plug? Like at 3:28? Yes you need it - it is what helps the LED bar relay brake > running > turn signals.
We are not sure. Never had any experience installing with a power commander so not sure where they recommend to mount their unit. There is probably room for both.
Unfortunately we do not have E Mark certification for this product yet. Though having just found out what that is with a google search, I will investigate what it takes to get the certification. Thanks.
Why is this FEK so expensive? Other FEK's available are half the price, which is still over priced, and this kit doesn't even have the option to mount the plate tucked back under the seat.
We use quality parts and that makes them more expensive. We only use premium LEDs. The LED array we have made is the brightest on the market. Our custom made circuit allows for full red function under amber when signal is in use including full brake light (bright red) under amber as well. Making it the most visible on the market in all functions. We also have stainless steel and CNC'd 6061 aluminum components unlike the other ones out there that use stamped steel and 3D printed plastics. This is the highest quality Thruxton tail light kit on the market by far. We have seen all the competitors versions and we know ours is the best and priced as such. As for the relocating license plate, we feel it looks best and is most legal where we designed it to be. If you want to relocate your plate you can do so. The license plate portion of ours is Stainless Steel and you can cut the license plate portion off and mount your plate where ever you would like.

Great, more integrated turn signals for cage drivers to have an easy time overlooking in the sea of LED.
That is also a concern that I have, particularly since the contrast between running light and indicator is not so distinct.

Love this piece on my Bonneville. I've had it going on 5 years. Did you guys ever figure out a way to slow down the speed of the turn signals?

Yes, they need to install something to slow down the blink.
Do you have a model compatible with 2020 Thruxton RS?
Not yet. It is coming. When it is available the website will have your model year in the drop down menu.

Yes, there is a plate under the end where you mount your license plate.
