So excited for SU to join the conference. As someone who lives in Seattle, it means there will be a game every year in town at CPA that won’t be as much of a pain or as expensive to get as the marquee matchups (such as vs Alabama). Plus I think they are a solid and competitive addition to the conference as well.
Why is the WCC scraping the bottom of the barrel at such schools as Seattle? This does not benefit the WCC. There are many other big schools in the West that would bring more value to the WCC. This doesn’t make any sense.
Hmmm....let's think about that. What team do you see available at this moment, that fits the Catholic/Christian identity of the conference, comes from a Top 15 media market, plays in a venue that seats 17,000, and is already winning the at the D1 (they won the CBI last year)?

I am very hopeful that the WCC can remain intact as an alternative to the Big 12, Big East, Big Everything.
