I recently put these in my 2011 fltrx. If you have a 09 or newer you don't have to remove the fairing. Just remove the 4 screws holding the headlights same screws and plug n play.
Great video do you still have these in the bike the road glides are more tricky to swap than the electras. i was going to get these for my uncle for chrismas
Hi Dan. Great video, great explanations. Thanks for a great job, well done. Allow me to ask you one small favour: about the back space difference from the stock headlights to the new LEDs. In your video, after install the new LEDs, there's more back space than before. Am i right or is it just video "effect"? Once again, thank you.
@@Gasolinegarage HI Dan. Thanks but I already knew that. I referred to the inside part, the space between the rear of the led housing and the wires from inside the fairing, when you hang the fairing to the frame hooks. Is there some more space when compared with the stock headlights? For me, it seems that the led housing is thinner than the stock halogen one. Is it?
@@antmrod5198 oh got u .. No it lines up with a bracket that you bolt on so it takes up the spacing at least with this headlight that’s what they came with it came with the steel bracket with the two notches in it so it hooks into the hooks

The headlight housing sits exactly where the original one did and there’s a black headlight bezel trim that goes on the front of the faring
