This scene has proven that David did really care about Maddie; even through all the previous season episodes leading up to this one, except in this episode's scene, he finally tells her how he feels deep down in his heart. Yes, crazy David has a soft spot in this scene.
Maddie deserved every word of that speech. Funny how Addison was considered the immature flake but deep down he was just the opposite. Maddie turned out to be the one with emotional issues.
David was a good man too mattie!!No matter what she did too him......He always welcomed her back with open arms......He loved Her!!He finally got off his chest how she hurt him.....He eventually forgives her......But They Just stay as partners in a detective agency........Than they up being friends in the end......Which they had gotten married...............But Mattie wouldnt marry him.......Instead She married someone else......Which was a terrible storyline......
