Love your reviews and wonderful collection! Just subscribed ... and I unashamedly admit, I'm addicted to lever guns. At least to the extent my budget allows, which is two. But if I was rich, I'd be in lever gun rehab, and own many ... I do have a 4 yo Henry 001. It's just a great little gun, that has operated flawlessly, is super accurate, and seems to shoot anything without issue. Just added the Big Boy 357/38 Special, which so far has done very good, even with 38 spl only. Accuracy is excellent, and it is a beautiful rifle. The action is not quite as smooth as the .22. but I'll do some exploring and see what shoots best. Everything I hear is they all like the primary chambered caliber best. My local gun shop had one of these in stock, I decided to go for a rossi r92 due to 357/38 and the price for it is a little steep for my wallet , still beautiful and well put together and smooth as butter

I just love all of these classic firearms. It took me a while to get into blackpowder shooting and learning a little bit about classic firearms but I'm glad I finally did. They have a great look and they are more powerful and accurate than people realize.
Love my 1873 Winchester by uberti. It's just like yours Mr Hickok 45 Sir. Only I don't have that fancy leather wrap around the butt stock like yours! 😀
First firearm that I bought when we moved to Texas three years ago was a Winchester ‘73 by Winchester. I got it chambered in .45Colt because...Texas! 🤠🇨🇱
I’m going to have to break down and get a Winchester 1873, to go with my Model 1866 Yellow Boy in .44 W.C.F. and my Model 94 Saddle Ring carbine. I’ve always had Winchester lever rifles, and regularly hunt with them. I really like hunting with .44 W.C.F. because with the 26” octagonal barrel of the 66, there’s very little noise on the report. When I shot a buck this past season, my grandson was able to shoot right after I did and he got a doe. The herd didn’t run until he shot with his 6.5 Creedmoor. Now the crack of the caliber will deafen you. There’s so much history in the guns on your table, that’s another reason I like shooting them. I usually carry a pistol when I’m hunting and it’s usually a Colt SAA.
We've done the two most common rifle - muskets of the Civil War, my P53 Enfield and my 1861 Springfield. We've also done several of the percussion revolvers used, as well as the Spencer rifle and the Henry rifle.
Man I keep seeing those uberti rifles, they are beautiful. Im gonna get one but no ammo yet around here. I guess I could get some brass and I have molds already. Might have to do it Friday now. You talked me into it.
I'm bidding on a Uberti 1873 Cattleman on GB. I believe it might be a one of a kind. It has a stainless frame with a blued cylinder and barrel. It has a brass trigger guard and Backstrap. Prettiest revolver I have ever seen. I would feel bad shooting it.
I love Uberti, I want to get the 1873 45LC Lever Action with the Hex or Octo cut blued barrel and casehardened reciever to pair with my Uberti 45LC Cattleman 1873 5.5" (blued, w/ case hardened receiver). Basically the same setup you have going. My Cattleman is by far the most accurate pistol I've ever shot my whole life. These babies are so damn sexy. I also have a Colt SAA .22mag which can also use 22lr and 22short. I pair it with my 22lr Ruger 10/22 which was my first gun my dad gave me for my 13th birthday. You have most of the guns on my "next to buy list". I really want an original 1873 Colt SAA, and original Winchester and Henry rifles but those are out of my price range for now. My Cattleman was the first gun I actually purchased brand new for myself from a gun store.

I certainly wouldn't call them cheap, they are very well made guns that are more affordable than a Colt. They run like a Swiss watch, a good value for your money and historically accurate, modern reproductions.

I've often wanted to get a lever gun and SAA in .44-40 for Cowboy Action Shooting. The .44-40 Winchester was a rifle cartridge that Colt subsequently manufactured a chambering in their SAA for, thereby allowing working Cowboys to carry a single ammunition type.
Uberti makes some beautiful, quality reproductions. I have a Uberti 1860 Army .44 percussion revolver that I love. Just incredible workmanship. I think the open top is the most beautiful single action revolver. Your 1873 is really beautiful too. I would love to own one!

The beautiful sound of a lever action rifle can only be rivaled by the sound of pulling the hammer back on an old revolver.
Sound of a pump shotgun
The Cha-ching on the release of bolt on an m82a1 Barrett.

The ping of an ejecting enbloc clip.
