As someone who's played on both devices, I prefer the ipad pro because of the bigger screen and the 120 hz refresh rate which allows me to play at a higher frame rate. But really it goes down to personal preference. Plus getting an ipad is a very good investment not just for mobile gaming but for other aspects of your life too.

Long range fights the iPad is way easier also I dont need red dots to clearly see enemies on long range so that saves an attachment but it sure is difficult to dance against an enemy using SG on iPad. Movement joystick is big (you cant make it as small as phones' joystick) so you need to swipe longer for you to run so I sometimes mistakenly crouch
You can make the joystick small , and here's how. Just make it small using your phone and open the game on your ipad and don't change the settings on ipad and that's how you get smaller joystick of phone on the ipad

The bigger aspect ratio (16:9 for most, 19-20-21:9 for gaming phones) makes you able to see players that (if they are on iPad) can’t even see you. I’ve died so often to people who were just outside of my iPad’s FOV. When you look at the killcam you see the player randomly snap on to you without being able to see you (on the iPad’s FOV). It does usually happen close range like u said but can obviously happen at longer ranges too
Indeed i actually noticed that people who use phone excel at close range combat but mid to long range they are kinda niche. I use ipad2020 and i have to say sniping is quite easy on ipads but i kinda struggle with the movement.

Phone players can not beat Ipad user because: 1) On the ipad you can play with 90fov. Playing on 90 fov makes everything look small that also means when you do sideways motion (Ads movement) , it looks shorter meaning easier to track. 2) 90 fov makes recoil non existent (very little) because of reasons explained above. 3) bigger display means you deny all the disadvantages of playing in 90fov.

I use the phone's gyroscope/motion controls, but I have aim assist turned off and can tell you that I get beaten at close range most of the time by players who use aim assist. I think I do a little bit better at longer ranges but that's because I've been practicing using an aim trainer. I train my swiping and gyroscope abilities since I don't use aim assist. Sometimes I can beat aim assist users at close range, but that's because I copied some of the preaim tactics that Rainbow 6 Siege players use.
Phone-iPad user here. My phone is straight garbage it’s a Samsung C7, I use 10 finger claw on both and see no difference except recoil control, long range engagements and movement

Imo i tried both with sniper and ipad makes sniping like 5x easier than phone ;-; Something about using a large screen device feels much more comfy, easier to do movement, easier to aim, and 6 finger hud makes your life easier too. skillful or not, iOS or android, I observe that playing CODM using iOS and in particular with Ipad actually does give the edge and advantage because of its powerful chipset. Some brand of android phones do give the same edge like the latest RM but in long shot, if given the opportunity, i ll take on Ipad over android phones

I use the phone's gyroscope/motion controls, but I have aim assist turned off and can tell you that I get beaten at close range most of the time by players who use aim assist. I think I do a little bit better at longer ranges but that's because I've been practicing using an aim trainer. I train my swiping and gyroscope abilities since I don't use aim assist. Sometimes I can beat aim assist users at close range, but that's because I copied some of the preaim tactics that Rainbow 6 Siege players use.

Phone-iPad user here. My phone is straight garbage it’s a Samsung C7, I use 10 finger claw on both and see no difference except recoil control, long range engagements and movement

A humble way of not starting a iPad vs Phone war. But I'm being honest here iPad being a powerful device Gives you more aim assist than phone cause the device runs the game at ease. Yes we got powerful phone too but just thinking about it iPad can easily manga what a laptop can can a phone?
My hands are a bit bigger than the phone (6.1'') so holding for too long hurts, and putting the phone on a table then playing gives me 0 visibility on the screen.
Also I've lost many gunfights bc I can't see the ennemies (black outfit characters in dark background) until they shoot me first then I react, Due to the screen brightness and size

Honestly Gyro sucks for me! I don't use gyro and I use mobile and I am just fine in close quaters.
Btw im playing on ipad and BR is really bad with it cus the character is so zoomed in lol, also phone gyro is really good on close quarter specially shotgun makes it really easy to use which ipad cant do..

Thank you for this video, with the Iphone 7 it was really fun to play CODM, once i updated to Iphone11 screen is too small, seems the game Re-image itself and can barely see the game, had to change to Gameloop, but too many key issues in the last months, thinking of moving in to a Tablet, would a cheap tablet under 200, work similar to an expensive Ipad? Something about using a large screen device feels much more comfy, easier to do movement, easier to aim, and 6 finger hud makes your life easier too. But i play on phone and im pretty good, since my dad brought the ipad with him for work ill be stuck with potato phone until christmas

skillful or not, iOS or android, I observe that playing CODM using iOS and in particular with Ipad actually does give the edge and advantage because of its powerful chipset. Some brand of android phones do give the same edge like the latest RM but in long shot, if given the opportunity, i ll take on Ipad over android phones
