Conservatives need to be MORE known as men and women who put action in partnership with their messages: find ways to serve, and be part of the solution. Don't just complain on social media. We can do more! Let me know what you think.

I have been thinking about this very thing myself. I am older and have some pretty stiff health challenges (chronic back pain, cataract surgery gone bad are the major things), but I am realizing that maybe just showing up at meetings would be helpful! I know many able-bodied people who are almost as passionate as me, but if *I'm* not doing anything as passionate as "i" am, how are we going to turn this ship around? The question is rhetorical, I don't expect you to answer, but I wonder if 1 for 1 will seem too daunting to most! Christian families are busy getting their kids to "good" things for their spiritual development, so there's not much time left in their week. . . What if we presented it with a 3 to one to just get us off our behinds? Every 3 minutes of talking should yield 1 of action, or even a higher ratio? There's not much happening with us, and we CARE. I am just as puzzled as you about how to wake people up to action. Thanks for this talk. I''m going to subscribe and will get familiar with your content before I share this. I have 234 FB friends, only 2 of which attend things. And most of these are christians!

I'm so so sorry for your pain! Thank you for your courage to press beyond the pain to look for opportunities... Your comment encourages my heart. Please know that even if you can only show up for 20 min to a meeting, be a smiling and curious face in the audience THAT could inspire people...
Imagine being a conservative on a board and all you see are either progressives in the audience (their voices matter too of course!!) or grumpy conservatives :( ... how disheartening! THEY NEED US ...
Even livestreaming the meetings and following up with members to say "I tuned in ... I'm praying for you ... I have a question ..."
