Parts-pairing is some dystopian bullshit I swear
Parts pairing needs to f..king die on consumer hardware.
Or some company just starts making modchips you can install to bypass it.
It needs to die on all hardware
@@ProtoV33MK1 Agreed
When the SSD dies, your data goes with it. And the whole laptop is bound for the recycling bin.
Surface devices being more repairable than CrApple these past few generations is a twist I would have not expected 10 years ago...
Few week’s ago I’ve updated to new MacBook Pro. Previously I constantly use my 2016 with Touch Bar with 1tb storage. Keep in mind, I’m using this laptop as cinematographer with constant migration of huge and small files back and forth. This same MacBook still works fine after 8 years! And I have two of them, one of which belong to my brother. If it’s not reliable enough, i don’t know what is.
Apple needs to fill up the gaps with concrete and replace the screws with nails for the next revision of the model .
Don't give them ideas.
@@sliphere011 I’m sure they are putting Human Resources into this already.
I mean, the SoC does only have a TDP of 20W
My 98 Wh battery laughing
I wish it was possible to add that 70Wh MacBook Pro battery on a MacBook Air, like how we iPod modders put 3800mah batteries and 1/2TB of storage on iPod Classics
Thats quite a dream for modern Apple device. Honestly I think if someone made an external 'battery pack' as the base of the macbook like old iPhone's battery pack used to do is more realistic than hacking the battery in. Maybe add an nvme enclosure and more ports too.
If only there was a framework Mac...
Framework seems sketchy
I just got my air M2 13 repaired, it took 8 days. Good I had insurance I dropped it hard. Lucky I had insurance.
No matter how good their products are, I can never support a company as anti-consumer as Apple
There’s definitely a lot of screwing going on
