This may be a stupid question but I am new to VR and all the games. This game looks awesome. Does this game get added on to as everyone plays the game? Like levels and quests etc??
No, you unlock new levels by finding certain objects. For example, you have to find 4 of the compass things in order to unlock the next level. You have to find 4 shark toys in order to unlock the shark bonus level.
I tried playing the demo on Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop but I can't even get past the menu.. It looks like my Quest 3 controllers are not being recognized within the game? I have no trouble playing Half Life Alyx and other games..

Because there is typical gameplay that you'd find in other classic types of games like action games or shooters or platformers. The gameplay here is simply exploration and finding objects only. Some gamers don't enjoy that type of gameplay. I enjoyed this game a lot and it sounds like you'd enjoy it too.
Bodies of Water was also a diving game about collecting coins, likewise created by one of those infamous "solo developer" developers. Subside proves that his excuses for terrible game design, hideous visuals and horrible performance were just nonsense. I tried the demo for Subside a few months ago and it was pretty good. Price is a bit steep but not unreasonable. I might gift it to a friend who is into IRL diving and VR gaming.
@@Eincrou yeah the Subside developer is clearly very talented and experienced and hopefully now we have a baseline of what future diving experiences in VR should look like at the very minimum

No, unfortunately, this is only only PCVR currently. However, it will also come to PSVR2 soon. I don't think the Quest 3 stand-alone can handle these types of graphics. Maybe the Quest 4.

This would be life changing if the developer made an Apple Vision Pro app for this. It would probably triple the sales.

there are some vessels floating on the water, but you can't get up on them. The only vessels you can explore are sunken ships.
