I just finished watching your UK episodes since last week. The 29 Vlogs from Bristol to Cornwall, the four videos of London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and York just before the pandemic, and the three more recent videos of the Somerset English village and beach. I really loved all of them. I have been to UK only twice, and both time we were mostly in London. The only places we visited outside of London were Windsor and Salisbury. Your video showed me many many other beautiful places in UK. The last week or so is really hellish here in Northern California, Pandemic + wildfire. Sheltered at home, closed all the windows to block out the smelly burning air, and watching the Travel Beans channel. That was really an escape for me, to virtually travel and enjoy the beautiful views all over UK, and to (almost) enjoy the taste of Scotch egg, Haggis, Fish and Chips, Cornish Pasty, and so on. Among all these beautiful places, if I have to pick one or two to go next time I come to UK, it would have to be Skomer Island and Pembrokeshire Coast. Thank you very mush Travel Beans! I will continue to enjoy your channel, next it will be the USA Series. I will have more comments for you, because I am sure I have been to most of these places. I have lived in California (southern and northern) for decades, and I have been to 48 out of 50 states (missing only AL and MS).
Hey. Thanks for taking the time to watch the videos and leave such lovely comments. It's made our day that you chose Skomer. It really was the best place we have been in the UK. Also, no one in the UK still really knows about it. A true hidden gem and a surprising safari.
I can remember when as a child in the 1970s having no phone in the house and walking with my mum to the red telephone box in the village before a dial phone was installed in the house
Hi guys Loving the village vlogs! The landscape and flowers are so beautiful. We had a blue heron visit our backyard pond here in Oklahoma USA It was absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, he made off with several of our rather large beautiful fish!! It tried to conceal itself behind a tree trunk, but failed when he extended his wings!! What a gift it was to see so close up. Thx for continuing your posts over the last months. Emma, thx too, for addressing mental health and tips for staving off the blues. Take good care Birds Always!!!!
Something beautiful and serene about the English countryside. Definitely a pleasure strolling along with you on this trip. Looking forward to another adventure next time 🙌💯☀️🌿
That was lovely! Sometimes home can be where others would like to travel, but we can get so used to it that we don't think of it as anything special. Thank you for sharing this with us all. :D
A GR postbox!. A rare beast. As to graveyards , in our Suffolk village the earliest graves outside of the church date to 1710 and are all grouped by family. Not that you can rely on the position of the headstones as they used to get moved to facilitate mowing :)
Please do come visit the Dutch countryside if you would like to see more herons. We have an amazing amount of these great birds in our fields. Not only the famous blue heron, but also the lesser seen white herons. Happy to show you guys around..
Great video. I'm loving the creativity of different travel vloggers who are now showing what their homes and local places are. I'm pretty well travelled (70+ countries) and am so glad that I have lived and travelled to so many parts of the world but if there is a positive to come from this time, it is that I have discovered local places and walks and appreciated the flowers and general 'greeness' (and I live in an urban area) which we have in the UK. British beaches, birds and beans - your next travel series?
Red phone boxes remind me of childhood holidays in Devon. We'd always use them to call grandparents! We've been so lucky with nice weather this summer. Not so much today though!
Hi love u guys I’m from Christchurch UK we see lots of birds all the time just like what u saw today we have 2 types here hope u come down soon more to see and plenty of walks around
We had to run up and down monk's steps for rugby training (Hornets RFC) strange to think I live 5 mins away, good old Tottle's shop... Lovely to see our area looking so good, keep smiling...
Good job heron spotting. By the way Em, buttercups grow wild in Oregon and my older sister showed me the same thing, yellow reflection means I love butter😉. We would make “daisy chains” with the buttercups. A little harder than daisies because the stems are more delicate.
Lovely episode, that really make us want to visit😊 May not feel like a travel episode to you guys but to us it's a welcome getaway. And wow what a beautiful day. Also love cranes as we have them in Louisiana too. Thanks for this sweet share, James and Kim
Love me herons! Have you ever been running along a river bank and had one take off directly overhead from a low hanging tree?! The swak from both bird and runner are both equally exited! Thanks for the memories from 1977! Come back to California and visit the Central Valley. We’ve got birds!
New subscriber here. So glad you guys are still putting out new vlogs despite the pandemic. When you are able to travel again, I would love to see you guys go to Costa Rica or the Amazon. The different colored birds are amazing. Alex would be in heaven!
Thanks for taking us on a lovely walk. I am glad you are getting to enjoy the summer weather for a change. That bug was a strange one... his legs looked like he was pumped up on steroids. lol! I would much prefer the uncrowded area of the beach and agree that it doesn't make much sense why the people all squeeze together on the opposite end. Interesting how far the tide has gone out from your other video. Alex you made me laugh (as usual) when you couldn't walk naturally in front of the camera. Good to see both of you still smiling through this crazy lock down.
I'm in awe of the English countryside... my dream to visit hopefully someday.... btw where are the castles?? Jk.... love your vlogs... thanks for mentioning Dalyan I'm a Turk... so happy you had wonderful memories of my homeland.... love you guys....💙🤗💙
Hi There! Thanks for the videos they’re all lovely and very very informative. I was wondering I you could talk about the video gadgets you’re using for the them . Keep up guys . Thanks so much ! Greetings from Punta Cana , DR.
Lovey video. You had beautiful weather too 😜. Lets hope over the next months things will change for “Travel “ Your doing a good job promote your area 😊
I used to drive between St Georges and Weston town centre via Kewstoke to drop my wife Dianne to work before we moved house and she loved seeing the alpacas, now we know a bit more about them! Our next lockdown walk is going to have to be as far as Kewstoke (we only made it as far as the woods last time).
Hi! Nice video guys and good you finally saw that heron! One extra new use for the phone booth we saw in Bath (were we currently live): defibrillator machines! Quick question, was this video filmed yesterday 1st of June? We passed by that village in our way to Brean Down Fort on that date 😬
I loved this video. The country. Just seeing where you live. The phone box is awesome! The elusive heren makes an appearance...And I love graveyards. Not in a creepy way but they are so peaceful, full of green plants, and I also love to read the stones. Lots of aloha! 😁
@@bkchhonkar5682 we were in lots of places including Vrindavan. It was beautiful. Our guide is from Vrindavan and had us to his family home for dinner and mehndi. I have a bunch of videos of our trip on my channel if interested. 🙏🏻
Great video guys, Exactly the types of walks me and my other half are doing, in the UK. Buttercups!!!!😂😂 You bring back so many memories from my childhood, Stay safe guys
I followed along with you on Google maps and street view, nice "village" but very close and somewhat part of the urban sprawl IMHO. You must make a vid of you drinking in the beer garden of the New Inn. Which, by a strange coincidence, was the name of the pub in Durham which is where I got very pissed in 1978 before I went to uni.
Phone boxes still have a use, the same as they always had, a more private spot for a knee trembler than a shop doorway, a bit cramped for two as the directory rack got in the way and a bit high for her to sit on. No one looked into a phone box unless waiting to use it. Just remember to take masks and hand sanitiser with you when you finally get to travel again at home, overseas travel may be off the table till next year and then the days of cheap flights may be gone for ever. Stay safe and well.👸🧔💋💋
What is your friend Adam’s youtube channel so I can follow and watch his videos as well? Thanks again for posting all these travel vlogs and we don’t mind the local travel vlogs as we enjoy it. Stay funny, be safe and healthy!
Alex now that you have gotten your elusive Heron on film, when Scotland opens you and Emma should check out Loch Ness. Maybe you'll get Nessie filmed 🤣🤣🤣
Finally captured a heron shot 🥳👏 the phone boxes in most of the villages around Sussex have been fitted with defibrillators. Thankfully I have not had to use the service so far but my time may come if my lockdown diet continues for to much longer
I'm from Sussex and three of our town's phone boxes are now book swaps, but one of them also has arty bits and pieces and a place for kids to hang their art work.

This is the country that i have been dreaming to visit to one day. It's very lovely there. It looks so quiet and peaceful. What a picturesque village.
I’m so glad you did these local adventures during lock down.
Thanks for another lovely video!
Love the UK as well as the "wild animals" (Emma and Alex)!
