looks pretty good, sounds decent.. I emailed Mooer a few weeks ago, concerning other products and they didn’t reply.. i’d rather save a little more and go with an HX Stomp, or a Headrush . at least those brands are more reliable with support. Great intro riff John ;) thanks for the video PS : does the looper have save/load capacity ? what about odd time signature metronome options , any decent variety ? thanks again
My Mooer Preamp live died after a year of very light use. Couldn't get it repaired or replaced even under warranty. . Customer support in the UK is non existent. If you want to experience just how shitty, cunty and contemptable guitar music shops can be in the UK, buy anything Mooer.
This is a little bit surprisea, because Mooer recently has released many new models. However they are probably keeping up with a hype of the tone capture features . Recently the other Chinese company Hotone also out that the tone capture to the model line. I have been a user Mooer several years (just switched to Boss). Mooer is making pretty decent stuff. But the user has a lot of complaints about the reliability, service and support (meaning no support at all). And also about the short lifespan of software updates of devices. Besides new stylish and affordable staff, the Mooer must pay attention to service and support. But otherwise in usability and features the Mooer is really keeping up with the competitors.
Sounds excellent , nice playing ! , unfortunately with all the negative Mooer support posted , I wouldn’t entertain purchasing it , which is too bad , they are making some nice products, no support - no purchase !
Sounds quite good, and nice UI. The Looper has "automated detection". 👍👏 Impressive set of useful features. I'd like to see how many Slots (blocks) it can actually run before it's out of DSP. Does it have Spillover for gapless switching between Presets? Looks like they got a lot right. This could be a new standard easily portable, powerful, modeling, capture, affordable, feature-rich Units.
The market will crash pretty soon. Too many brands offering the same thing, in different packaging. I wouldn’t be shocked if one of the bigger brand names, at far higher price points, takes a crash.
Mooer is notorious for having zero support and being a very shoddy company. Sad to see a bunch of influencers taking their advertising money. Sorry but this got a thumbs down. Nice playing tho.
I had some mooer pedal before including their wireless foot switch and like this ipod pedal, it’s not the best tone I have tried but it served pretty solid, I just bought a hotone stage cuz you know it’s greatly proven but I guess this one is black and orange that’s pretty cool
Looks like a more gimmicky quad cortex for 1/3 of the price. Unless the groove station and "AI" EQ are worth anything that's the only thing I see that would be interesting. If the sounds are comparable this would be worth it seeing you can get a lot DSP in these guys.
Bro just had a baby and the family's gotta eat. I don't really see the issue as John doesn't shill. He's a good player that knows his stuff and puts the equipment through its paces. Sure, maybe there are some restrictions he has to abide by put in by the manufacturer, but I never get the sense that his sponsored content is dishonest. It's useful to have these kinds of gear demos for many people even if this content is not for me.
I have no issue with a product demo - what does it do and overall quality. An actual review that gives a valuation on comparative sound/value etc. I don't like those being sponsored.
The easiest capturing capabilities yet. As far as the sound, your playing makes everything you present sound the same…awesome!
Oi! You got a liocense for that knoif?
OI OI OI ye got a loicense for gettin stabbed mate?
Great playing ❤
It sounds decent. Seems to be intuitive. The profile came out nice.

Wow, that knife! Very “Crocodile Dundee” 🤣!
It looks more like Arnolds in Predator.

How long the capture process?

Thanks for the heads up 🤙🏽
I don't know anyone who would buy one, given their atrocious customer support and lack of updates for the GE300.
It would be great if you made a video comparing this with the Hotone Ampero 2 Stage
Leo Gibson does a lot of that kind of thing.
@@-Thunder And has a great accent
There is no Mooer support, if you have issues, problems or just want frequently updates, forget it... my ge300 is abandoned since 2022 👎🏻
I tried to profile myself and it just said “psychopath murderer”.
Do you cut through the mix, though?
@Stormwoken you need Jon's knife to do that 😂

Doesn't sound like a 66' lafayette U-45 B @ 117 volts. Heater + grid + Plate + worn resistors equals tone bloom.
Any gapless switching ?
No but it has gapeless switching
Sounds nice
OMG are you Jason Voorhees?? 😅
the blues crab is a blues breaker clone
Price ?
Amazon has it listed for $479. No idea how accurate that is.

I love you knife! Do you cut you steak with it 😉🤣
use a chainsaw next time. Great sound and playing !
Why is new gear so freaking ugly. This pedal sounds good, it just looks like a cheap piece of shit.

Interesting thought, never considered that but it can totally happen

Just bought a Kemper... sorry 😁
Why would anyone buy this when you can buy a stomp or something else proven for the same price if not less

Good point. I still can’t believe how many things the Stomp can do
I agree the price is high. They need to eat the loss on a low price to really get their foot in the door.
Because we don’t all want to sound the same.
My guy- allow me to introduce you to a Leatherman. Knife is sharp and serrated and not longer than your arm
it looks like a dual cortex
Jon you need to watch those precious fingers of yours with that big knife 😅.
How many try hard honest sponsored product reviews can you pull out within about 2 days?
John: Yes.

@@suedeface fair enough
It's very unwise to show that knife in a video.
That type of knife is illegal to own in the UK.
It's a papercutter not a knife dude
it’s probably not illegal as I don’t don’t think it’s over 50cm long. Probably 49cm😳
It's okay. It's a knife - profiler.
Are you saying it’s illegal to own a sword in the U.K.?
