You've done it .. Welcome to the Bass Singing Nation brother😂💖 I'm so glad you got to discover one of the LEGENDARY artists we have in BSN, Dan is an absolute beast! His subharmonic register sounds very natural to the point where you thought it was chest-fry at the beginning, he's one of the very few that can control it to the point where he can actually sing words using it rather than just "hitting notes", if that makes sense .. just like at 6:47, that's why we call him the Prince Of Subharmonics 😂💖 Also, 7:05 had me dead 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching this though, we're all very grateful .. 🙏 Looking forward to more BSN reactions!
Clap it up dan is very good at his subs, its really cool to hear it sound so much like Tim Riley's chest voice and sound so good doing it, and like you said, can acually say words doing it. Love the song, love singing it at church.
Clap it up Dan is AWESOME !!! Love this song, sang it all the time in church as a kid at Flagler Street Baptist Church here in Miami....this a standard by a Southern Gospel Quartet....thank you for covering this brother !!! Do more of Clap it up Dan...he even did a cover of Home Free LOL :)
By Dan I would recommend after a while and rainbow of love next And other BSN covers I recommend Marwan Ayman: spooky scary skeletons Peter Barber: creeper Tomi P: toss a coin to your Witcher Efes_art: misty mountains
'Chain gang' and ' I'll have a new life' are some of his best covers. 120% worth checking out Edit: upsie got the name of the second song wrong, thx both of u who corrected me
Hey QoFy 👋! Our boy Dan can go insanely low, according to the vocal range video BadamB B has done, Dan can go down to G#-1 😱😱😱! He can do minus octaves!! Please do Tomi P’s O Come O Come Emmanuel, it’s beautiful, and the middle verse is in Latin, which is so cool.
The crazy thing is he’s not even a natural bass, but he’s so good with growl and subharmonics that it makes him as good as and even better lot of other bass singers out there!
Yeah yeah he is awesome!!!!! He has that bass tone of the old Gospel quartets doesn’t he? He could workout a bit on how his higher voice sounds to make it more beautiful...... But he’s really one of the bass-iest bass out there.😜His name is Dan Mirabal...... Check out his cover on ‘Wayfaring stranger’ sometime...😁

He is using subharmonics for the low notes and he has amazing control over them. He basically talks in subharmonics
He's gonna be a force to be reckoned with
The note at the end was an Ab0, which is a semitone lower than the lowest note on a grand piano (A0)
Thats crazy!

The king of growl
Lowest note : G-2 off the piano

Wow does that guy have a range! I'm just stunned. Who IS this guy? And, I love that he incorporates barbershop with gospel.
He is so good !
Great tones "Clap It Up Dan"!!! #_Qofy sounds like he's going off the chart!! Wish I could hit those LOW notes!!
He does right?!!
Bruh you picked a good one to start with. That last note is a *G#0* the lowest note he’s hit in a song
Thanks Marcello that was amazing
