Fun fact! Pigeons were also one of the first domesticated species! They are estimated to have been domesticated about 10,000 years ago but officially recorded around 5000 years ago. They were easily domesticated due to their diet, size and nesting habits, as well as their general friendliness towards humans

I knew about the milk thing. Remember that from a Wild Krattz episode about pigeons (kinda the only episode I know where the Krat Bros were bummed out about an animal they didn't understand. Usually it's one of the other crew members!), but the domestication part was new to me. Thats interesting.
Did you also know that pigeons can read if taught. They were mainly used in the army trained to target planes ahead in a tiny little seat with ammo. Those guys fought in war and we still treat them like rats with wings 😭
@@moistbread9363 Ye I did! The pigeon guided missile project. They were essentially trained to continuously peck at a dot and that would be used to steer the missile to the target. There were so many messenger pigeons who saved countless lives during wars, most notably Cher Ami

I'm really sorry about not mentioning her Polish name (I meant no disrespect), every time teachers have mentioned her name it was ALWAYS "Marie Curie" which is a real shame, I totally agree with you, her polish surname should be mentioned more. I expect this is because "Curie" is easier to remember/pronounce by English and French speakers, that's why SKŁODOWSKA may be less mentionned...

7:17 That is NOT a Cuttlefish, it's a Dumbo Octopus! Cuttlefish are often stripy and gray when they aren't camouflaging themselves, they also have a long head like a squid and tentacles at the front of them. Dumbo octopuses are yellow mini-octopi that have flappy ear-like things on the sides of their head, accompanied by large adorable eyes!
You genuinely make the best Minecraft content. You make learning for younger kids fun and engaging. I’m 25 and I find it so refreshing to have educational content in a video about minecraft farming.

Another fun fact about windmills is that they are also used to make flour. My Oma (Dutch for grandma) took me to one that she’s been getting flour from since she was a kid. They’re very interesting with all of the gears and what is needed to keep them working.
