I did Iron work for 20 years so it might take some time to teach lol. You can however attach long bungees to two up-rights and attach a strainer basket to the feeder end. Make a pull pin attachment. Put some feed in there and be patient.
I built a squirrel launcher and used it once. The video made so many of my friends and family upset (squirrel was FINE) that I dismantled it. I have other squirrel entertainment devices that remain, such as my squirrilygig and tube run. (sorry, to lazy to find videos right now).
As pertains to fun fact, no. I had a face off with a very tense squirrel 40-50 feet in a tulip tree. There were no branches below and the squirrel happened to be on the limb I was intending to remove. I didn't know it was there until I started the chain saw and saw the guy coming toward me at a fast rate of speed out of the corner of my eye. I flailed at em with the saw as it jumped to an adjacent limb more or less over my head missing completely. The squirrel fan up the branch but both of these limbs went upward at a steep incline and so he turned around and came toward me again. I was tied in with a buck strap and a climbing rope around the main trunk of the tree and couldn't really get anywhere fast plus, it was a lot of work getting on top of that limb after a long climb, no hooks mind you in compliance with the law of the land in a tree city USA. Well, he jumped, landed on the concrete and moved slowly a few feet before being very still. He was still there when I wrapped up and the fall knocked all the zip right out of him. That little dude was done. I felt sorry for the fact that he didn't make it though I was feeling pretty good about the fact that I did. It's a beautiful rig and I'm inspired to build one for the neighbors "stray" cats.
I could use one of those Squirrel trebuchet’s 😂🤣😆. I could launch from the bottom of their home tree and get them in the pool with the distance you get! Great BBQ toy…. Squirrel tossing.
