Son, knowing how it ends anyway... I still cry at the end of this ep for oh il nam. What a way to have everyone think you went out, I'm actually crying and laughing at myself at work lol
Yeah, we can say Ali was dumb for trusting Sang-Woo, but we have all the info. As far as Ali's concerned, this is just the guy that gave him the bus fare when he was going to walk across the city, and the guy who came up with the idea to throw the other team off-balance when they were losing tug-of-war. He's been nothing but 'good' to Ali, even if we know from other context he was probably just doing it to feel good about himself.
After hearing the news of winning the Emmy Award, I watched the squid game reaction again. That's a great edit! The scene where Ali calls Sang-woo"'Hyung" 형 (兄) as an older brother ,for a native Korean speaker, is even more heartbreaking. Even if you are not a family, when you call an older male senior as 형 "Hyung", it means that you two have a strong bond and friendliness as well as your family. When Ali and Sang-woo call each other brothers 형-동생 , deep trust is formed, and the belief that Sang-woo will take care of him is all melted into the title 형-동생. The depth of betrayal of Sang-woo, which Ali must have felt last, is so deep that he doesn't know the end of it, and native Korean speakers feel everything only about the word "형 !! the brother" Ali shouts last.
I never cried during watching the actual show, I'm tearing up watching this what the f- This and the fans watching the season finale of Mandalorian S2 got me God damn it 😂😭

21:07 This scene is more emotional when you know Korean. It’s cause Ali called him “형,” (hyung), which in Korea is often used when younger brothers address their older brothers. This sorta shows how much he trusted and respected Sang Woo, only to be backstabbed…
the only team who did Battle Royale right (and the Original Battle Royale too ofc) , they really put up good story and emotion into a slaughter game, and its very good they put these in series, since we need time to invest with each character and feel for them, if its a movie the impact might not as much, unless its a 3 hour long movie
I've rewatched the entire show 4 times and seen tons of reactions, but this episode still absolutely breaks me emotionally. I was really not okay after seeing Ali go out the way he did.
Ironically, the reactions had so much compassion and humanity, in contrast to what was happening on the show. Mixed emotions, definitely tears, more than when I watched the original episode. Amazing compilation Johnny.

Best episode in whole series I wish my father was here to see this masterpiece show he passed away just few month before squid game whenever I see shows I wish he was sitting beside me because we used to watch everything together 😔
Sorry for your loss :(
당신의 아버지는 천국에서 편안하게 쉬고 계실겁니다 당신의 아버지는 늘 당신을 지켜 줄겁니다
I feel you cause my father passed away not to long ago and I miss him so.........much...
The FRONT MAN game master character actor is actually the same actor who played STORM SHADOW the white ninja in the live action movie GI JOE.

This scene is more emotional when you know Korean.
Il-nam's death actually made a grown man like me cry. I wasn't prepared for this
This must've been a hard one to do.
Devastating episode !
This episode was just.... oh my god... it was.... SOOOO CRAZY!!!!!
When everyone cries, you cry...
I find it funny when people said “They didn’t show him die” I mean they didn’t show Ali die
I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, I cried when Ji-yeong sacrificed herself. Those two girls were awesome, def are bffls outside of this camp.
I honestly still cry to this even though I know the ending lol
The most heartbreaking episode of the show. Hell, one of the most heartbreaking episodes of TV ever.
The editing on your videos to make it seem like everyones responding to eachother is phenomenal. Definitely my style
I've rewatched the entire show 4 times and seen tons of reactions, but this episode still absolutely breaks me emotionally. I was really not okay after seeing Ali go out the way he did.
"Gganbu, thats the name of the episode he finna die 💀"
Not the voice I was expecting but I love it! And this episode hit me soooo hard. Glad to see all these folks crying too
Everyone cried on this. This man unleashed tears no-jutsu
I love that the way these videos are made, it's like they all are sitting in the same room and reacting to it at the same time...
The long awaited episode! and congratulations for the sponsor my man!
Ironically, the reactions had so much compassion and humanity, in contrast to what was happening on the show. Mixed emotions, definitely tears, more than when I watched the original episode. Amazing compilation Johnny.
If they spend just five minutes on the couple who were playing against each other they would have got another few hundreds gallons of tears.
This episode is like tragic car crash with multiple deaths. You don’t want to see it but can’t help but to look
The single greatest 1hr of television maybe ever! Gganbu (1x06) ranks up there with Ozymandias and Hardhome
Ali is not stupid humans are inherently ugly. its the instinct we each have to survive
to have 1 moment in a show , but to have 2 ..... the balls the ballllls
The saddest episode from the entire series.
Every one of these episode reactions are nerve wrecking and brought all the emotions from everyone
I heard the scene was so emotional that even who was playing Ji-Yeong the character that the camera people the scene were crying
24:22 this dude was done with this show 🤣
07:37 🤣
