You're very welcome and I'm sure the cold does get old. Stay warm and enjoy the beautiful snow. Our temperature here in Northeast Alabama right now is 32 degrees and they are calling for snow. Have a great day and look forward to your next video
Absolutely, I'm hoping it shows up intact...went a long way!! Email me if you can when it lands. Tried to clean it up a bit, but had some stain spots...
ln UK, eggs are 80 for 6. mince/ground beef is £3 to feed 3. biscuits are from 50 to 1.00p. A whole chicken (fresh) is around £ 6.00. Bread is around £1.00 x
Thanks for sharing another shopping trip and it's so nice to see all the kids helping. It's great that they all get along so well. Can't wait to see the prices in Wasilla. It is definitely cold here. We are expecting colder temperatures in Alabama. We are actually supposed to be getting some snow this week. Happy New Year!!
Oh my goodness, a moose would be awesome!! I was just telling a viewer I would love to film him actually doing a wood carving! How fun... Thanks for sharing your prices, not too bad there!! You take care
At New York, Stop and Shop, Gallon whole milk is 4.49, dozen large eggs is 4.49, organic is 6.69, and sore brand butter is 4.29 lb, land o lakes is6.79 lb and Kerrygold is 4.99 for 8 ounces. Hope you are able to get a moose from the road program this year. I would love to see the art gallery when it opens.
Yes, you bet, I can't wait either for the art gallery...so neat what he can do with wood. Possibly, he would let me video him doing a carving? Oh that would be so fun! Well thank for sharing your prices, not too bad. So far the most expensive groceries are in Canada
We don’t drink milk but cream is $13.99 for half gallon and $9.99 for a quart. The very few eggs the store had Thursday were $12.49 a dozen here in nor cal. Most of the prices were close to the same.
New years Eve day I had to attend a wedding and in the evening the reception. Had a good time. Thanks for another great video. Have a good new year to all of you!
Hi Sarah!! So good to see you all enjoying yourselves shopping!! Your prices are pretty similar to ours in Michigan. With notable exceptions. But when you were in Walmart, you showed an absolutely beautiful Alaska wooden cutting board. Do you remember the cost of it? Happy New Year to each and every one of you!! I so enjoy all of your channels, and it gives me a huge amount of respect for all the work you all do to enjoy your corner of Heaven. Happiness to you all!!💜
Gallon milk is almost $9 or $9.99. Depending on store, butter per pound is over $6, Cheese block that size is over $25, cereals range from $7 on sale to over $9 up to $12 depending on brand, burger in family size trays range from $25 to $35….love the comparison prices, I’m in central Alberta, Canada❤❤❤❤
Great video!! The Fred Myer in Wasilla usually has really good sales! Safeway actually bought all Carrs locations in 1999, they just never changed the signs, everyone still calls it Carrs tho!
Yes, you are correct. Brady is a great driver...he is cautious and takes it seriously...I think the stress of making sure we are safe gives him a headache!...not sure if it's always the sun that gives him headaches
GOOD EVENING Here at Walmart milk is $2.60 a gallon for Whole Milk. Organic eggs one dozen $6.48 (RIDICULOUS ) I just bought butter for $2.99 a box at Kroger’s just before Christmas. Food prices are rising in Central Indiana. For now we just buy fresh produce VEGGIES fruits & dairy. We have a cow butcher for our beef once a year every May. We keep 1/2 & sell the other half. 2 Pigs butchered every October for our yearly supply. We do Chickens in August. We don’t buy meat from the store very rarely. There are 4 adults & one teenager. I keep a fully stocked larder (pantry) I have for over 44 years. It took many years to get a reliable routine & budget to figure this out. This works for us. GOD BLESS
Oh nice...thanks for sharing..sounds lovely. Do you guys raise your hogs? Chickens? I hear you about the meat at the store...I don't even know if it's " real" meat. We are hoping for a call on the salvage list...crossing my fingers! If we had more money, we would buy a beef and cut and wrap it ourselves
@ our friends children’s 4-h animals has been our meat for the past 20ty years. It takes time & money to build up a pantry like mine. You do it one product at a time. I took $5.00 week & that’s how I got started. Buy only sale items. Just do it slowly & you will & can build it. I canned all our garden produce & anything I could.
I love it. Brilliant, you are an inspiration. I would love to see a picture of it!! We live tiny, so space is sort of an issue...but I could do better and use some space I do have. Thanks for sharing!
When you ask for prices in the rest of the world, you forget that it is almost only you who do not use metric. To get it right, you have to convert your volumes to metric, then it will be right first. Examples in Norway are approx. prices: H Milk NOK 24 a litre (we dont have gallons). 12 eggs about NOK 50. Butter NOK 60 for 500 grams. Broccoli NOK 25 each. Cheerios NOK 50 for 375 grams . Minced beef NOK 180 per kg. grated Cheddar NOK 220 per kg (dont have bloks of it). Apples NOK 30 per kg. Aparges NOK 220 per kg. The fat content in beef is 15%, Pig 2-5%. So now you can calculate what it will be in dollars, and your type of weight. Love from north Nroway
The crack windshield on that car is illegal here in Queensland Australia hefty fine demerit points and car is classed as unsafe unroadworthy. A 3 litre bottle of milk here cost $4.50 and is pasteurised and homogenised and has zero cream settle to the top I really don’t know how they get away with calling it full cream milk.
Thanks for sharing that! Yes, Brady is planning on getting that windshield replaced in the summer. There are soooo many rocks and debris on the roads here in AK during winter from the sand/salt they apply to the icy roads.. (It will just get smacked again right away.) Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year!!!
We live so frugal. I think that's why we haven't moved out of the state yet! We actually don't make too much money. We just try to manage what we do make the best we can. We don't eat out, no TV, no huge mortgage, pay as you go cell phones, etc... Minimalistic living off the grid. This is probably why we exist in Alaska still. Good question, tho!
Considering that 20 pesos is around a dollar USD, Milk is very expensive in Mexico, I buy better quality milk without carrageen and oils added. I pay 85 pesos per Liter, which would be $4.25 us. 2 1/2 dozen eggs would be $4
@ShoppinginAlaska dairy here is ultra pasteurized and shelf stable, they don't even refrigerate sour cream, or cream. The milk most people buy in my village would be closer to the coffee Creamer in the US with more chemicals added than milk.
@@ShoppinginAlaska personally, I love a real book though, something very satisfying to hold it and turn the pages, and the smell of a book is indescribable❤
Ever download the library app then you just stay home and get your books on your iPad and it’s all free free free free free free you don’t even have to go to the library to get books. Why do you park three miles from the front of the building? lol 😮. I have noticed that every video. Pushing the cart at times through all that ice and snow.
Oh my, I need all the exercise I can get! LOL. That, plus people dent car doors sometimes towards the front. Brady is extremely picky about his truck too....
I have wondered the same thing. Pushing a full cart over the frozen ice and snow...but, then I logically concluded young man driving his vehicle, probably cart protection.
We love the freedom of Alaska...wide open spaces, extreme mountains, extreme animals and bugs too ! Lol. Yes we like it. Winters are rough tho. Yes there are lots of jobs that actually pay pretty good here. It's a very adventurous place to live. It's never boring here
You're very welcome and I'm sure the cold does get old. Stay warm and enjoy the beautiful snow. Our temperature here in Northeast Alabama right now is 32 degrees and they are calling for snow. Have a great day and look forward to your next video
