I like simple food, I liked the food there a lot. But I don't know what you like. People have different tastes. I ate muesli for breakfast, but sometimes yogurt, pancakes, eggs or other freshly cooked things. Sometimes I ate breakfast cakes for breakfast. We stayed there 4 weeks, so we had many days to eat whatever we fancied that day. My partner ate freshly fried eggs or omelet. I like fish and pasta, so whenever there were fish I ate it for lunch and dinner. There were always pasta, so I was happy. There were often shrimps, sushi and mussels and I was so happy about these as I like these too. Sometimes I ate nice potatoes. I had to hold myself back when I ate there, because food was so good and different choices. There were always many choices fresh salads, so salads were part of my lunch and dinners too. My partner don't eat pasta, fish, sushi, mussels and shrimps, he was happy to eat different type of potatoes, chicken, turkey or meat + different vegetables. There were ice cream for lunch and dinner and lots of small cakes and fruits. Whats not to like? There were also so many different type of food what I didn't want to try, but there were many choices. I just like pasta and fish and then I am happy. Some people are always complaining about the food no matter what hotel they are. Even if I like the food there it doesn't mean you will like it. Other things to do in the hotel. I don't sunbath, so I don't care much about the beach, but there were beach and people liked to stay there all day. There are animation team who is organising activities all day. There is also indoor and outdoor swimming pool, table tennis, tennis, gym. Can also stay and use neighbour hotel activities, pool area. Evening entertainment is good. The only bad thing is noisy in the late evening as the evening entertainment is outside and basically you can hear it from all hotel rooms. But if you stay outside, then it is fine as then you are part of the fun atmosphere. If you try to sleep early, then it feels noisy. They should shut off the music from outside about 11:00pm if I remember correctly, but they don't follow these rules all the time. In rooms is Smart TV, we watched Netflix all the time when relaxed in room. I will go back there if I can go there with reasonable price. We didn't want room cleaning all the time and we were happy cleaning ladies didn't bother us after we put sign on door Do Not Disturb.

@@nazmeenbe9376 I didn't use iron. I am wearing sports clothes and no need to iron these. Iron is basic essential, I don't think you need to pay to use it.

@@nazmeenbe9376 Yes. I visited other hotels in the neighbourhood and stayed in some other's in Sousse. I stayed in Marhaba Salem, but I prefer Occidental Sousse Marhaba. I visited Hotel Marhaba Royal Salem as Marhaba Salem are in same territory, sharing same swimming pools, same beach, same outside territory, same tennis courts. Marhaba Salem is slightly cheaper than Hotel Marhaba Royal Salem. Hotel Marhaba Royal Salem seems better or fancier to me than Marhaba Salem. I don’t want to go back to Marhaba Salem. Marhaba Salem and Hotel Marhaba Royal Salem are more far away from Sousse, so if want to walk to Sousse old town, it is possible, but longer walk. I stayed in Hotel Paradis Palace in Hammamet (not is Sousse), I liked it there as they had big heated indoor swimming pool, but I don’t want to go back there. Hotel Paradis Palace lunch is in outside restaurant building, not in the main building. Sometimes it rains and then we still have to go to the restaurant when ground between swimming pools is soaking wet. It wasn’t nice to walk through water to have a lunch. Food and rooms and entertainment was nice, but I didn’t like the location of lunch restaurant. Hotel Paradis Palace are having best rooms in my opinion, if to travel like a family as they have two rooms from same entrance door, but these rooms are kind of so separate and far away from each other so it gives so much privacy to each room. Sure there are normal one room regular rooms too, but for family point of view these rooms are the best. The other thing I didn’t like about Hotel Paradis Palace is location. Wild stray dogs gangs are in the neighbourhood everywhere and dogs can be dangerous and aggressive. Dogs are not in the hotel territory, but outside hotel territory. Hotel Paradis Palace neighbourhood is empty and abandoned and there is nothing to do. It is possible to walk to Yasmine Hammamet neighbourhood, but it is quite a long walk by the road or 1 mile by the beach. Hotel Paradis Palace used to have tennis courts, but they dig these up and built new swimming pools instead. I don’t want to go back to Hotel Paradis Palace any more. Never say never, if price is good, maybe going there again as family rooms were very good, food is good and big heated swimming pool is nice too + good evening entertainment. But I prefer Occidental Sousse Marhaba. When I stayed Occidental Sousse Marhaba I visited Hotel Marhaba Beach, Hôtel Marhaba Club, Karthago El Ksar, Hotel Marabout Sousse, Mövenpick Sousse and Riadh Palms Resort & Spa. Hotel Marhaba Beach is almost the same as Occidental Sousse Marhaba, but same time different hotel. Not sharing the beach, but beach is next to each other, so same sand, same sun, same sea, if you know what I mean. These two hotels are sharing the same big indoor heated swimming pool, but hotel outside swimming pool and generally hotels territories are separate. Also sharing same tennis courts. If to stay in Occidental Sousse Marhaba, can hear sound of Hotel Marhaba Beach animation team, but can't take part of each hotel's activities. Hotel Marhaba Beach seems nice hotel and if price is right, I would stay there as I could use big heated swimming pool and tennis courts and I like the location. Hotel Marhaba Club are almost the same as Occidental Sousse Marhaba. They have hotel main building on their own and hotel restaurants on their own, but sharing beach, heated swimming pools, tennis courts, evening entertainment and take part of each hotel’s animation team activities or sunbath in each hotel’s outside swimming pool areas. I prefer Occidental Sousse Marhaba, but if price is right, possible would stay also in Hotel Marhaba Club. I like the Karthago El Ksar hotel territory (they have also tennis courts), but after talking to people who stayed there, they were complaining about the food and drinks (soft drinks, water) in November, I don’t want to stay there. Maybe in summer time it is different, but in the winter time I will not go there. Mövenpick Sousse is massive huge hotel and in November it was all empty. Almost no visitors. Sadly they don’t have tennis courts. Location is very good as closer to Sousse promenade and old town. Seems fancier hotel to me and I would stay there if the price would be right. Hotel Marabout Sousse seems very abandoned and beach area was almost closed. I have nothing to say about it, it seemed weird and abandoned and so wouldn’t stay there. Riadh Palms Resort & Spa is the cheapest All inclusive hotel in the neighbourhood. No tennis courts are there, but the location is so good. So close to the Sousse promenade and Sousse old town. It didn’t give the best feeling to be there and our first reaction was, no way, we will never stay there it doesn’t matter how cheap it is. But now thinking, if the price is really so good, we would stay there, hopefully will not regret it. Out from all these hotels I prefer Occidental Sousse Marhaba. If these hotels would be all with same price, I would stay in Occidental Sousse Marhaba. Price matters to me as we want to stay there at least 4 weeks and if price is good, even longer. I am choosing hotel in sport activities point of view. If you don’t play tennis and don’t want to do swimming practice in big heated indoor swimming pool, then hotel would be different choice. If I wouldn’t care about swimming, running and tennis, I would just choose the cheapest possible All Inclusive hotel. The most fancier and nicer seems to be the Mövenpick Sousse, but same time it is massive hotel. I wish I can find good price All Inclusive hotel, then would stay there entire winter (not more than 90 days as visa requirements).
