Nah they showed the reality of their relationship. Sometimes relationships can’t be mended. And if we’re being honest, Daya fell (sadly) down the same hole Aleida did-and she was going to take her family down with her. She thought what she was doing was the right thing but she became so far gone from herself and who she was before that there was no coming back. Moral of the story though, not everything is kittens and rainbows at the end. This is the reality for some families, and it’s sad.
Aleida was definitely one of the worst mothers in the world, but at least she loved them in some way. She just had no fucking clue how to be a regular parent let alone good parent.
@@SophieJackson1993exactly and the thing about Daya is in season 7 everyone sees her as the bad guy because she put her sister's in the drug game but what's interesting is it can be interpreted as her being a good guy after years of neglect and manipulation from Aleda on top of (Bennet leaving the life sentence and daddy cheating on her) she finally had enough so tired of being used over and over again her drug empire in the final season is in spite of her mother who wronged her that she turned a sweet heart drawing love pictures into a monster only there for herself and what's cool is that Daya doesn't think she's the bad guy she think she's doing a service to her family but in reality it's all a play to get back at Aleda and no matter who she needs to pull in the drug game even her family she will do it to remain on top
But in a way it does show you what the prison system does to people. She came in being kind and loving and then with time she became a different person. It’s sad.
Bennet leaves her, she’s pregnant but She had to give up her baby, She was charged for a murder she didn’t commit causing her to be psychologically/physically abused by the guards then turning to drugs to ease the pain etc etc. That would change anybody and no one seems to understand that
Aleida is unlikable but she’s funny 😭✋🏻💀
“But you fuck ‘em… so what do you fuck ‘em faww??!? Loveeee?? Hiiiiii” 💀💀💀
