    This is so pretty! I have not seen these place mats at our Dollar Tree yet but will be on the lookout! Your ingenuity is inspiring!

    Fabri-Tac would be a great glue, it works with fabric and paper.

    I have that same placemat and had planned to cover a book with it for a dollar tree challenge. Thanks for inspiring me to use it for a TN cover instead. ☺️

    I have been working on a cover for a set of control panels that I think look ugly and prevent me from being able to "use" a large wall. I am making a sort of picture frame cover that has slats like shiplap. So far everything is from DT, I glued two of their wooden signs together and tried to color wooden rulers with the wood paint pens (fail). I think I am going to use a mesh trash can to make a layer of chicken wire over the top to cover up the painted slats a little.

      That sounds like a good idea. I'd love to know how it turns out, and thanks for watching!

    Hello! Missy from TN. Just started watching u on TH-cam! Love this! So cute! I got a tip for u on that glue! Put a rubberband around the bottle so that when u r using it u can tuck the lid under them!

    Thoughts: Thanks for showing how to use a fabric placemat to cover the travelers notebook. I just love the print.
    Maybe you could eliminate the constant bong, bong, bong of the base in your music, OR not music at all (best).
    Not ModGE Podge; it's Mod Podge. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

    The $store has a gel glue in the hardware section that is a cheaper version of E6000. That would probably work along the edges if the fabric to fabric. *just a suggestion*

    Oh my gosh, I have problems with my salivary glands. I have one that is plugged, and when it is plugged up badly, I have to put heat on it, or rub it gently or drink pickle juice or eat a lemon. that is what the doctor told me to do. He said if i get to where i cannot stand the pain, they will have to operate. I pray you feel better and keep those salivary glands clear. Bless you.

      Poor thing. I was extremely I'll with a salivary gland infection all of March and April. Then, I was fine again until today. I had the same initial experience of pain under my chin on the left side, like the most painful cramp in the world! This time, though, my face from my nose down also hurt like crazy with a lingering pain. It lasted about a minute. I hope I am not getting another infection. It was so painful last time, and I felt so sick. I will keep you in prayer.

      @@OrganizedPlannerChic HONEY, You need to go see an Ear , Nose, and Throat Doctor. He will tell you exactly what to do for the pain, and how to care for it. If you can help it though, don't go under the knife, it could paralyze your face like you had a stroke. Go brush your teeth, and gargle with hydrogen peroxide. Don't swallow it though, spit it out. Don not eat sweets or anything that you have to chew on with pressure. For the next couple of days , eat soup if possible. Is your jaw swollen ? Did your ear sort of close up on you ? Please go see a doctor, it will relieve you of a lot of stress. Take Care and God Bless You.

    I wonder if the placemats have sone sort of protective coating to prevent stains. That might have caused issues with the glue. Regardless, it looks beautiful.

    • @OrganizedPlannerChic

      That is certainly a possibility. Thanks for the tip, and thanks so much for watching!

    I would have cut the excess off the end first so all the sides were the same, also fabric glue like fabrifix would have worked better, great idea though I'm definitely going to try this, thank you

      @OrganizedPlannerChic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a bunch! I was trying to use all Dollar Tree products, but I will definitely check out fabrifix for future projects. 💗

    What are the dimensions of the template that you used?

    • @OrganizedPlannerChic
      @OrganizedPlannerChic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The template I used was not the correct one because it wasn't wide enough. It works, but the 13 x 9 inch one (w x h when open) would have been perfect. Thanks for watching!
